*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Graduate of an American Bar Association approved law school with a J.D. degree.

This announcement will be used to fill one (1) current part-time Registered Nurse vacancy at the Minnesota Veterans Home-Silver Bay. This position is designated as part-time and rotating evening / night shifts. The evening shift is 3:00pm to 11:30pm, and the night shift is 11:00pm to 7:30am.
The work schedule will include at least 48 hours per two-week pay period and may include additional work hours, based on business needs. The position is initially eligible for partial employer contribution towards health and dental insurance benefits.
This position will provide care for residents by assessing needs, assisting and encouraging their social and emotional well-being, and implementing orders and routines. Report and interpret observations and resident behaviors. Communicate nursing and health care concerns to supervisor. Maintain resident charts and records. Coordinate the activities of the nursing unit to maintain consistency in resident care delivery and unit functions. Follow health and safety rules to ensure the security.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Licensed in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions and in good standing.
+ If you are not currently licensed in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse, you must be able to obtain licensure by date of hire.
+ Future Registered Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-RN.
+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross or ability to be certified by date of hire.
+ Effective communication sufficient to provide and follow instructions and teach skills to residents.
+ Computer skills sufficient to complete electronic charting, specifically in PointClickCare
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long term care or other senior healthcare environment.
+ Experience working with Veteran population
+ Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care provided by other staff, make, or recommend changes, and provide mentoring
+ Knowledge of nursing practices and techniques sufficient to provide effective nursing care and the ability to make decisions within the scope of nursing responsibilities
+ Effective interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships
+ Experience with minimum data set (MDS) assessments

This front-line leadership role is responsible for overseeing the electrical maintenance activities associated with Hot Side equipment, facilities, and power distribution systems. Summary of Responsibilities:
* Create, foster and promote a positive atmosphere to support safe production goals in the mine and plant.
* Promote and execute safe production.
* Conduct safety and information meetings within area.
* Coach, direct and develop technicians within their area.
* Manage training needs and promotions for department personnel.
* Maintain a productive relationship with all Northshore Mining team members.
* Maintain, and communicate daily and weekly schedules as required to maintain the plant production targets utilizing existing systems.
* Verify parts, tools and equipment availability to ensure efficient work execution.
* Ensure work order discipline is adhered to and work completion documentation is kept.
* Continuously improve E&I department by identifying deficiencies and taking appropriate actions to rectify.
* Communicate to all crew members' job assignments, timing expectations, and associated tasks.
* Oversee E&I contractors involved in maintenance activities and projects.

Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in mining or heavy industry, with preference given to those with both operations and maintenance experience.
* Bachelor's degree in related field or at least 5 years related work experience is required.
* Demonstrate total alignment with company core values while leading the Hot Side Electrical & Instrumentation group.
* Be a champion of safe production methods & ideals.
* Understand and be able to communicate and implement safety, plant and MSHA rules, environmental policies and procedures and operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
* Previous successful leadership experience is required.
* Posses leadership skills necessary to prioritize crew activities in alignment with the Hot Side objectives.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and delegate.
* Strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office software.
* Proven understanding of predictive and reliability centered maintenance a plus.
* Able to coordinate multiple work tasks with a variety of employees, departments and outside contractors. Must be able to set goals, develop strategies and set time frames to achieve desired results.
* Ability to think logically using factual data and structure ideas to influence others. Must make sound, timely decisions under conditions of uncertainty and risk. Must be able to multi-task and work well under stressful conditions.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $110,000. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
