SimIS, Inc seeks a Program Manager to provide overall leadership and management of a U.S. Navy training systems support contract. Summary of Functions

Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on large and/or complex systems, including site surveys and client needs analysis.
Direct and supervise project administration, subs and engineers to establish project guidelines, contract negotiation, staff needs, and project meetings.
Work with engineering department on design and drafting phases of jobs and with purchasing for accurate and timely procurement of equipment
Manage the project budget, schedule, and scope of work

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Navy Modernization Process (NMP).
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE in the following areas:
Working with Platform Planning Yards in generating and reviewing Ship Installation Drawings.
Ship Change Document (SCD) process, including Technical Data Package (TDP) development and Technical Assessment Team (TAT) review.
Background in one of the following areas:
Nuclear-trained or technical Limited Duty Officer (LDO)
Chief Warrant Officer (CWO)
