Essential Responsibilities * Serve as the lead academic and administrative officer for the College of Biblical Studies and Ministry, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. * Provide strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and assessment of innovative College of Biblical Studies and Ministry (COBSM) undergraduate and graduate programs, including online and hybrid modalities. * Collaborate with department chairs and faculty to support student success, faculty development, and curricular innovation. * Partner with the Office of Admissions to support recruitment, retention, and graduation efforts for students in biblical studies and ministry programs. * Engage with the Advancement Office and external stakeholders to support fundraising, grant writing, and resource development. * Represent the college in University-wide planning, research, and evaluation initiatives, including participation in the University Academic Council (UAC). * Manage budgets and resources responsibly and efficiently. * Lead efforts in faculty recruitment, hiring, mentoring, and evaluation. * Support and promote scholarly activity, service, and professional development among faculty. * Facilitate program review processes in collaboration with department chairs and the Director of Accreditation and Institutional Research. * Maintain a (reduced) teaching and advising load. * Demonstrated alignment with the mission of Point University, expectations and doctrinal stances of the University (as set out in the Faculty and Employee Handbooks) and a vibrant Christian faith. * A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution or exceptional experience in the field * Substantial teaching experience in biblical studies, theology, ministry, or a related discipline. * Proven leadership and administrative experience in higher education. * Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Commitment to student success, faculty development, and academic excellence. * Experience with curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation processes. * A record of scholarly engagement and/or ministry leadership is highly valued. * A proven record of engagement in a local church.
