At Wilmington Treatment Center Our Quality Assurance/ Risk Management Assistant assists the Quality Assurance/ Risk Manager in ensuring all patients and employees remain safe assisting with the coordination of Risk Management programs as well as auditing clinical groups and charts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Assist in educating and training of staff on the Risk Management program throughout the year.
* Tracks risk projects as assigned through the facility.
* Tracks and enters all incident reports into the incident reporting system.
* Ensures all Incident Report Binders are fully stocked and in order.
* Responsible for compiling and distributing material prior to meetings, as well as recording the minutes.
* Responsible for department records management.
* Assist with coordinating and training activities for facility staff to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, as needed.
* Assist Quality Assurance/Risk Manager with developing and implementing quality assurance/performance improvement program and ensures compliance.
* Completes chart audits in a timely fashion.
* Assist with the preparation of the agenda, meeting minutes, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
* Communicates chart findings with QA/RM and other appropriate staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Bachelors degree or equivalent in Behavioral Science or Social Work required
* Ability to work with male and female adult (18+) patients with chemical dependency and mental health disorders

Key Responsibilities:
Developing controls/monitoring software low level requirements-based tests to generate full-coverage LDRA verification procedures.
Analyzing and dispositioning structural coverage holes.
Coordinating with the customer to ensure full test coverage, correct expected results, and communication / disposition of test findings.
Executing the tests in the LDRA test setup on both simulated and on-target environments.
Reviewing test results and test time history data, during test development, regression runs, and to help debug software issues.
Identifying findings to the customer in instances where test outcomes do not align with requirements or with expected results.
Authoring and participating in formal reviews of test cases, procedures, and results.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, softwareengineering, or a related technical field.
5 years performing low-level software requirements-based testing
2 years testing with LDRA or similar tool (i.e. VectorCAST)
Proficiency in understanding C programming, preferably with experience developing C code.
Experience doing requirements-based testing under DO-178B/C or other safety critical process standards.

Overview

An Automation Engineer at CDM Smith:
- Under limited supervision, creates basic to highly complex instrumentation, controls and related systems designs using 3D and 4D drafting programs. Develops basic technical memoranda related to design issues for clients. Prepares preliminary design reports (PDRs) under supervision.
- Reviews basic to highly complex component level shop drawings. Provides responses to requests for information (RFIs) under supervision. Performs field acceptance testing (FATs) and field inspections.
- Under limited supervision, creates basic to highly complex human-machine interface (HMI) designs, programmable logic controllers (PLC), reports, etc. Prepares level of effort estimates (LOEs).
- Leads testing and startup team for basic to moderately complex instrumentation, controls and related systems independently with minimal supervision. Responsible for testing and startup documentation completion and quality assurance filing.
- Assists with the development of basic to moderately complex operations & Maintenance manuals for designed instrumentation, controls and related systems.
- Under minimal supervision, develops systems training for end users.
- Leads teams and provides direction and mentoring for junior staff. Reviews the work of junior staff as necessary.
- Assists with proposal development and presentation.
- Performs other duties as required.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or in Engineering Technology or related discipline. Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in states where an EIT is not obtainable (within 18 months of hire or promotion or transfer).
- 5 years of related experience.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with Water/Wastewater highly preferred.
- Experience within an Engineering and/or an integration firm highly preferred.
