Prepare various types of related reports and studies to secure permitting for projects
Draft work for scoping/conceptual work/engineering packages
Assist with oversight and guidance of projects from initial concept through construction
Assist in the preparation of project proposals

Prepare preliminary engineering reports
Perform and review detailed calculations: stormwater management, leachate generation and pipe sizing, slope stability, and compaction density

These include a Phase III investigation of a major Fort Ancient village site and Phase I, II investigations of Woodland period sites in the Scioto Valley. Field technicians will be working under the supervision of a Field Supervisor and/or Principal Investigator. The ongoing and future projects should see work through the late summer.
The work will involve archaeological excavation (i.e., test units), feature documentation, mapping and profiling, shovel testing, surface survey, and screening for artifacts. Phase III investigations are primarily in heated tents.
Minimum requirements include an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field; field school or archaeological field experience (previous work in Cultural Resource Management preferred); good organizational skills; and ability to maintain neat and accurate field notes. Pay starts at $20/hr and is based on experience. Per-diem ($41/day) and lodging is provided for all project work requiring overnight stays away from your home office, and paid sick time accrual is offered.
You must provide personal PPE like gloves and boots. Other required PPE will be provided.

Who we are
Chandler was the first city in Arizona to receive accreditation of our water and wastewater operations by the American Public Works Association, the toughest accreditation to achieve in the industry. The Utilities Division is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City's water treatment plant, 32 water wells, and 19 booster station facilities and share another water plant with the Town of Gilbert. The Utility also operates wastewater and reclaimed water infrastructure, including industrial wastewater/ brine reduction and three wastewater facilities. We treat over 64 million gallons of fresh water and treat over 30 million gallons of wastewater per day to class A+ reclaimed water to meet irrigation and industrial demands. Our water is received from four primary water sources: Salt River, Verde River, Colorado River and ground water supplied by our extensive well field facilities. We also use advanced treatment processes to recycle over 7 million gallons of industrial wastewater and return it back for industrial reuse. Service is provided to the City of Chandler residential, commercial, and industrial users by a network of 1,224 miles of active water mains, 942 miles of active sewer mains, and 92 miles of reclaimed water mains.

The Environmental Services Specialty Technician's primary responsibility is disinfecting
Specialty areas such as Infusion Pharmacy, Sterile Processing, Operating Rooms, Procedure Rooms, Cell Therapy. As part of the Spill Response Team, deactivates and decontaminates chemotherapy and other hazardous agent spills. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents for customer infrastructure running in Azure.
Triage, action on and disposition telemetry alerts as they come in.
Install, configure, and administer customer systems in Azure.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to virtual servers and networks.
Escalate complex cases to Tier-2 and Tier-3 support as needed.
Process & Optimization:
Perform regular reviews of systems, processes, and procedures.
Document systems, processes, and procedures to maintain knowledge base.
Promote best practices to enhance and improve organizational processes.
Communication & Customer Service:
Communicate technical issues and solutions to clients in clear, business-friendly terms.
Interact with customers to identify IT problems and troubleshoot them efficiently.
Provide regular updates to clients via email, ticketing system, and phone calls.
Communicate ticket status information to all team members.

We are looking for a Field Engineer Technician (Part Time) to provide field inspections throughout the Kansas City area. This person will work remotely, but must be in the Kansas City area.
Responsibilities
Perform light PDF editing of pole location documents
Understand the use of document management systems, filing, and document scanning
Travel to both city and rural areas of Kansas City area to locate poles.
Use of handheld range finder to document pole distances and attachments of existing power lines, communication lines and equipment.
Complete fielding checklist form for each pole and upload for design teams to complete designs.
Electric hazard identification, electric equipment identification, and communication equipment Identification on poles.
Track pole assignments within Vector (training provided) and layout your next days work.
Comply with all safety regulations and meet safety requirements to maintain a successful safety record
Requirements
Ability to travel locally to different job sites
High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism if/when talking to residents
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, reach and to move or carry items weighing up to 25 lbs
Comfortable use of field-based tablets, cameras and hand held range finder.

Remote solid waste technician job
APTIM has openings for a Environmental Technician to work in a team to perform solidwaste composition assessments of client waste containers ranging in size from 3 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards. These assessments are typically 1-2 days in duration with typical team sizes ranging from 2 to 5 depending on the size of the assessment.
Work activities will include sorting through solidwaste using hand tools to segregate waste items by type for the purpose of assessing various types of waste including plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, food waste and regulated materials. Assisting with the separation of the waste, weighing and inventorying items for the purpose of data analysis and reporting.
Work requires the ability to bend and lift 30 pounds or less, willingness to work in Tyvek safety suits, wear required safety equipment, and ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Sort solidwaste into material categories including plastics, paper, cardboard, food waste, regulated waste, etc.
Use hand tools to sort waste and ability to lift and move items 30 pounds or less.
Willingness to travel with the team to transfer stations, landfills, and client sites. Travel could be required anywhere in the continental US but primary focus would be in the Midwest.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work well in a team, positive attitude and willingness to travel
