Required Qualifications Licensed or Licensed eligible in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Veterinary Technician(LVT).Working knowledge of basic nursing skills as well as knowledge of basic anesthetic equipment and monitoring; ability to place intravenous catheters and to perform endotracheal intubation; excellent communication skills; Rabies prophylaxis will be required (provided by employer). Working knowledge of basic companion animal anatomy and physiology as a result of courses or experience; ability to understand instructions; ability to handle and restrain all species of animal; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
