SolutionsArchitect
The SolutionsArchitect designs and champions robust, scalable technical solutions, bridging complex business needs with technical implementation to enable Elevate's program delivery and strategic objectives. This role's primary focus is ensuring all data services and applications align with architectural best practices and a long-term vision. As a vital part of the Technology Data Services (TDS) team, the SolutionsArchitect supports Elevate's overall function and mission by fostering innovation and efficiency across our product-oriented teams. The SolutionsArchitect reports to the Director, Technology Data Services. This position is remote and is headquartered in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
Own the system architecture and integration patterns across all data services and applications, including Salesforce and web platforms.
Lead the design of comprehensive, scalable, and secure technical solutions that align with Elevate's strategic goals and business requirements.
Evaluate and recommend technology stacks to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert for technical design and data management, providing authoritative guidance.
Provide direct technical guidance and mentorship to product-oriented development teams, fostering best practices and architectural adherence.
Lead the development team's technical kick-off meetings and actively participate in business feature and epic meetings.
Collaborate closely with Program Leads, Business Analysts, Salesforce developers, and administrators on solution and improvement development.
Create technical documentation to support feature development, ensuring clarity and maintainability.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and impediments throughout the solution lifecycle, proactively addressing potential challenges.

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred
At least six (6+) years of progressive experience in software development, architecture, or technical consulting, with at least three (3+) years specifically in a SolutionsArchitect or similar lead design role
Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce platforms and web technologies in an integrated environment is essential
Possesses deep expertise in enterprise architecture principles, system integration patterns, and cloud-based solutions
Demonstrates strong proficiency in Salesforce architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, Lightning components) and web technologies (e.g., modern JavaScript frameworks, APIs, CMS)
Exhibits exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
Displays excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Compensation
The total compensation for this position includes health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.), defined contribution benefit (401k with contribution), professional development, generous paid time off policies, and a flexible schedule. This is an exempt individual contributor position with a salary range of $100,000 - $110,000, based on experience.

Strategic Technology Leadership
Contribute to our multi-year AI technology strategy and implementation roadmap, working closely with Golin's global AI technology VP and members of the core AI transformation leadership team
Assess existing agency IP and identify AI enhancement opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new AI-powered products and services
Stay current with vendor offerings (Microsoft, Adobe, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and ensure optimal utilization
Knowledge Transfer & Training
Work with our Global AI Learning & Development Lead to ensure widespread adoption of new technologies you devise, design and implement, ensuring broad use
Provide technical expertise and support training with local agency teams
Document solutions and best practices for knowledge sharing
Mentor team members on AI implementation, safety, and governance
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Experience: 5+ years in technology roles, preferably in PR, advertising, digital media, or professional services
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Python and JavaScript
Experience with React or Next.js frameworks
Strong GitHub repository management and code collaboration practices
Experience building custom AI systems using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with CI/CD pipeline implementation
API development and integration expertise
AI & Business Acumen
Deep expertise with Anthropic's Claude (desktop and API), including custom AI assistant development, Project design including custom instruction and project knowledge architecture
Proven experience identifying business process improvements addressable through AI
Strong understanding of AI governance, ethics, regulatory compliance, and security protocols
Experience working with enterprise software vendors and technology evaluation
Communication & Leadership
Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
