What You Will Do:
Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for a Microsoft Dynamics Architect to support our client's Case Management system. As an Architect, you will work with the technical team to design and deliver the case management solution within a given time, identify risks and mitigate the risk during the design phase. You will be responsible for high-quality projects. You will work with the client, PM, and BA and streamline the communication between teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on client's architectural and business needs
Drive Dynamics CRM implementations through all project phases, including discovery, definition, build, test, and deploy
Lead data-centric discussions with the client through discovery meetings.
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, system diagrams, and prototypes
Develop integrations and customizations to Dynamics CRM
Design and lead the system architecture process to create, define specifications for, and implement customizations for any custom code or data migration requirements
Present tailored demonstrations of the technology solution
Work with technology and business groups to define project specifications
Develop technical solution designs and implementation plans and take full ownership of the Dynamics 365 solution
Interact with both prospective and current customers during product demos/evaluations
Enhance efficiency of development, testing and release process; develop tools and frameworks to ensure robust and high-quality delivery of Dynamics 365 Implementations
Document technical risks and issues, and actively work to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks and technical debt
Relay of the solution design to the development team and provide technical guidance during development of the solution to the development team.
Travel to multiple customer locations for demos and meetings when required
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship is contractually required for this role
Minimum degree: US equivalent Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of Eight (8) years of professional experience
Minimum of Five (5) years of experience implementing and managing CRM solutions at an enterprise level (Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365)
Selected candidate must be able to work in a hybrid environment
Evaluate, design, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 business solutions, often working on-site to help customers deploy their solutions
Experience translating technical information in to easy-to-understand business concepts
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Great interpersonal skills and can be collaborative
Experience developing & deploying business applications using Microsoft's Dynamics Power Platform
Core Skills: C#, SQL, .Net, D365, CRM SDK, CRM Plugins, PowerApps, Power BI, & Power Automate (formally known as Flow)
Must have experience with full life-cycle implementation of Dynamics 365
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience in “Big 4” or equivalent established consulting firm and/or Microsoft Gold partner highly desired
BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
Experience with public sector clients preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

What You'll Do
We are seeking a Principal Architect / Distinguished Engineer to lead the strategic technical vision and architecture for our cloud platform's elasticity, scalability, and resilience at Teradata. This role will serve with technical authority, driving innovation, influencing technology decisions across the organization, and ensuring our platform can dynamically scale to meet evolving product requirements.
The ideal candidate is an expert in cloud elasticity patterns, multi‑cloud capabilities, modern infrastructure architectures and has a deep understanding of the current market landscape, including the strengths and limitations of public cloud providers, managed services, and open‑source technologies.
The role combines distributed systems expertise with a deep understanding of cloud performance characteristics, around storage, networking, I/O, and compute resource behavior.
The role requires a deep understanding of data platform architecture and scalability tradeoffs. Teradata core platform is evolving with elastic compute, and our goal is to achieve greater elasticity by unlocking scalability in our environment. Ideal candidate will be able to assess these architectural constraints, propose strategic improvements, and lead efforts to enhance system elasticity through thoughtful, data‑driven platform modifications.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve the architectural blueprint for a highly elastic, self‑optimizing cloud platform.
Develop frameworks and systems that support real‑time autoscaling, predictive scaling, capacity forecasting, and cost‑aware elasticity.
Maintain a deep understanding of cloud provider offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and relevant industry tooling, including their performance characteristics, constraints, and roadmap directions.
Evaluate emerging technologies, vendor solutions, and open‑source projects, identifying opportunities and gaps relative to our needs.
Influence long‑term engineering strategy, collaborating with product, operations, and security teams to align architectural decisions with business goals.
Mentor senior technical leaders and engineering teams; drive engineering excellence and establish best practices for scalable cloud architecture.
Establish patterns for distributed systems that optimize workload placement, resource utilization, reliability, and failure recovery.
Focus on cost efficiency by designing elasticity mechanisms that reduce waste without compromising performance or customer experience.
Lead the creation of reference implementations, proofs‑of‑concept, and performance experiments to validate design decisions.
Investigate platform constraints and collaborate with teams to design alternatives or mitigations.
Define guardrails, standards, and tooling that ensure elasticity features are observable, testable, and production‑ready.
Who You'll Work With
You will partner with Product Management and platform operations teams to ensure scalability capabilities integrate seamlessly with deployment pipelines and monitoring systems.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
10+ years in large‑scale distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering.
Proven track record architecting high‑scale, elastic, multi‑region or multi‑cloud systems.
Deep understanding of cloud provider elasticity primitives, orchestration systems (Kubernetes, serverless, autoscalers), and modern infrastructure technologies.

Experience with hybrid or edge‑cloud architectures.
Contributions to open‑source cloud infrastructure projects.

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. You will also participate in and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly working groups, boards, and panels to include CDTAB, DSAWG, Information Domain, and IRSMC board meetings.
Individuals in this role must be available to work on-site at Ft. Meade, MD for the majority of the workweek.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate with DISA stakeholders, ISSMs, and PMs to resolve non-compliance issues identified in the Cybersecurity Scorecard.
Keep senior leadership and cybersecurity stakeholders informed of all Cybersecurity Scorecard non-compliance findings.
Serve as the primary briefer for CDS requests, tickets, ad-hoc meetings, and annual reviews at CDTAB, DSAWG, Information Domain, and IRSMC boards.
Apply broad technical expertise in cybersecurity, networking, system architecture, cross-domain technologies, DMZ design, and controlled interfaces.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred)
Six (6) or more years leading Risk Management teams
Five (5) or more years IT program management experience leading audits and inspections in DoD/Federal environment
Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
DoD 8570 IAM or IAT Level III certification
Functional area expertise in National and DoD IT policy
Expert level knowledge and experience as a technical expert providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives in areas such as but not limited to; Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management.
