Key Experience: - Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large healthcare organisations. - Hands-on experience with EPR systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic, System C, Allscripts, or similar). - Demonstrable track record of delivering digital transformation projects in healthcare. - Strong understanding of clinical workflows, data standards (e.g., SNOMED CT, HL7, FHIR), and interoperability challenges. - Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and data architecture principles. - Proficiency in designing integrations using APIs, middleware, and messaging platforms. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premise/hybrid environments. - Familiarity with data governance, information security, and GDPR compliance. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage competing Priorities. Responsibilities * Directs, manages, and participates in the development of system architecture, including sensors, hardware and software * Researches hardware solutions to control and support systems used in autonomous haulage. * Defines system architecture requirements for use in a complete autonomous haulage system. * Develops project plans and associated with deploying hardware components. * Facilitates joint development and integration activity with other internal teams. * Serves as SME for AHS architecture design for LME autonomous truck. * Providing technical support for existing customer projects * Writes specifications for software modules to control system level commands for interfacing with tools and infrastructure such as data logging and system configuration. * Manages internal development activity related to configuration and logging software modules * Participates in the creation of development contracts. * Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. * Identify and resolve issues and conflicts with the project team and/or plan. * Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. * Estimates time and cost requirements. * Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. * Track project milestones and deliverables. * Works independently and as a team member with other engineers, designers, and production personnel or on ad hoc projects. * Researches and analyzes customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data. * Confers with Engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information. * Participates in Engineering Development Program. Competencies * Education and Experience: A Master Science Degree or Master of Engineering Degree (M.S./ M.E.) with 4 or more years of relevant systems or embedded system design experience in an engineering environment or, a Bachelor's degree (BSCE, BSEE, BSCS, or BS Mechatronic Engineering) with 4 or more years of relevant experience in an engineering environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Knowledge of autonomous haulage system * Knowledge of software development standards/compliance * Knowledge of embedded systems * Knowledge of Linux based embedded systems and/or Realtime Operating Systems * Knowledge of software containers (ex. Docker) * Knowledge of programming languages (ex. BASH, C, C++, python) * Knowledge of and ability configure communication interfaces and (ex. Ethernet, CAN Bus) * Knowledge of communication protocols (ex. DDS, CanOpen, J1939, etc.). * Knowledge of software revision control (ex. SVN, GIT) * Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (ex. Jenkins) * Knowledge of wireless telemetry as applied in the surface mining environment * Knowledge of hardware and computing platforms * Knowledge of Project Management tools (ex. Microsoft Project) * Knowledge of Functional Safety Standards (ex. IEC 61508) * Ability to independently configure full stack autonomous systems * Ability to automate deployment, configuration and commissioning of full stack autonomous systems. * Ability to accurately scope technical projects * Ability to write specifications that detail functionality * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals, software specifications. * Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as algebra, probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. * Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. * Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
