General Responsibilities: Be the primary in-person contact for IT support requests and helpdesk communications, delivering prompt and effective solutions. Collaborate with team members to resolve end user issues, escalating complex technical challenges to system engineering when needed. Troubleshoot and resolve alerts from users, IT staff, or automated monitoring systems, supporting workstations, laptops, tablets, smartphones, copiers, and printers. Prioritize and manage helpdesk requests, ensuring timely escalation to system administrators as appropriate. Create and maintain documentation for common solutions and recurring issues and deliver user training on IT topics and company policies.     We are seeking a Platform Infrastructure Coordinator (Engineering Technician) to support the design and implementation of Navy networks. The role will focus on developing network topologies and templates based on system requirements, creating IP address plans, and preparing detailed test plans and documentation. This position requires shipboard and/or installation experience, including understanding of shipboard network and power infrastructure, cable tables, interconnect diagrams, and installation processes such as equipment mounting and cable pulling. Candidates must be able to read and understand installation and design drawings and have a foundational knowledge of network infrastructure in Navy environments. This role is ideal for a former Navy IT Tech (E-6 or above) or a Navy Engineering Tech with network experience who has supported shipboard installations or operated Navy network systems. 30-40 % travel will be required.
