The MaintenanceTechnician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on automated foundry production equipment. This role ensures equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards in a high-volume industrial environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three (3) years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of: D.C. and A.C. electrical theory, Pneumatic and hydraulic theory and practice, Plumbing and piping repair theory and practice, Machine repair theory and practice, including close-tolerance assembly and fits
Experience using precision measuring instruments and diagnostic devices.
Understanding of machine sequencing and interrelationships, including evaluation of pressure, flow, and dimensional requirements across machine functions.
Five (5) or more years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent journeyman-level experience.
Forklift operation experience.
Work 2nd Shift | 2:30pm to 11:00pm | Monday through Friday.

Are you ready to play an integral role in the Lifecycle Services model at Emerson? We have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Valve Technician, you will be responsible for the teardown, repair, assembly, calibration, and diagnostics-using Flowscanner-of various brands of control valves and instruments. This role also includes completing associated paperwork, conducting valve diagnostics, and working with digital control technologies such as AMS and DeltaV. You will primarily work in a shop environment, with occasional field service as needed!
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Assembly of new equipment or repaired equipment.
Documentation of repair / testing / assembly activities - cause of failure, actions taken, parts used, labor hours, etc
Various inventory control responsibilities - stocking shelves, pulling parts, cycle counting, accurate documentation of inventory transactions.
Customer communication - technical assistance, troubleshooting, quoting / determining disposition of repairs.
Disassembly, cleanup and evaluation of parts.
Surface preparation and painting assemblies and parts.
Nameplate stamping and tagging.
Boxing / shipping of old and new parts. Crating and packaging when required.
Final inspection and completion of inspection report.
Signing and documenting date compliance sheets.
Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
Responsible for personal safety and those around them. Can maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
Participation in field service calls, as required, at customer sites. May require overnight stays from time to time.
Participation and involvement in Safety, Quality and Activities Committees.
For this Role, You Will Need:
High School diploma and 2+ year of consistent working experience
Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience in the process control industry is a plus
Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment or process related problems is strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Mechanical related Associates degree a plus
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Proven ability to quickly learn proprietary systems
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Understanding or work experience with Fisher and Final Control product preferred.
