Develops and maintains communication with other allied professionals. 8. Contains professional growth through a review of the literature, membership in professional organizations, attendance at professional meetings and participation at inservice programs. 9. Promotes the acceptance, support and utilization of speech/language/hearing services in the school and the community. 10. Meets and consults with parents, administrators and others to develop individual educational plans for students who are speech and/or language impaired. 11. Participates in transition planning.
