Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs repairs according to work orders or verbal instructions and compiles proper documentation following established policies and procedures. Identifies and requests parts and components needed to complete tasks.
Works with vendors, contractors, and factory representatives in regards to the repair and replacement of equipment. Assists contractors and other personnel with connections and shut-offs for water and fire systems.
Performs basic plumbing and electrical repairs and appliance repairs including, but not limited to: changing light bulbs, replacing ballasts and installation of light fixtures.
Performs carpentry and minor construction projects including, but not limited to installation and or repair of drywall, walls, flooring, ceramic tile cabinetry, countertops, shelving, painting.
Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment including, but not limited to: debris/trash removal, heavy lifting/moving of materials and equipment, floor-sweeping and material storage.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for proficient maintenance related to HVAC and mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing, and safety inspections. **THE OPPORTUNITY**
This primary function of a Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic is to provide 24-hour, 7 day a week "skilled trade" maintenance support to the manufacturing, research and development laboratories, warehouses, and office facilities that make up Abbott Park and its associated owned and leased lake County facilities. Maintenance department services include that of manufacturing equipment repair, electrical power equipment and distribution system upkeep, equipment and facilities preventive and predictive maintenance, refrigeration and HVAC system maintenance, lubrication services, environmental testing, heavy equipment rigging, pipe fitting, mechanical, general building maintenance and welding services.
**What you'll do as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic**
+ The safe, efficient, and economical use of hand tools, power tools, shop equipment (Lathe, Mill, saws, grinders, sheer, brake, press, iron worker, and media blasting equipment), welders (TIG, MIG, and arc), rebuild gearboxes and reducers, ability to run pipe and conduit, fabrication of parts and guards, ability to replace chains, sprockets, guides, bearings and all other equipment as needed.

+ Successfully perform all PM's, Certifications, and Calibrations on the fillers and ancillary equipment.

About This Role
As a Facilities Technician II, your primary duties will be to operate, and repair chill water cooled GMP and non-GMP air handlers. Ability to troubleshoot motor control, perform bearing replacement and alignment, and valve replacement. To become Maintenance Specialist, you will need -
Associate degree and 2-5 years of experience OR accredited maintenance training and 4-6 years of experience preferred.
Applicable State licensure, as required.
Two (2) years of maintenance experience in a senior care community with proven leadership and organizational skills.
This position requires frequent travel, approximately 65 - 75%. Travel for an extended period may be required, local or overnight. Typically, travel is planned; however, there may be times there is an unplanned, immediate need, for local and/or overnight travel. Ability to stay overnight in a destination for an extended period is required, possibly for several weeks at a time.

Maintains ongoing communication with Charge Nurse each shift.
Understands and satisfies the supply and equipment needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age, adolescent and/or adult patient.
Meets and greets families, with respect for diversity and individual circumstances.
Assists RN with patient transport.
Provides services and covers bedside/pod restock, as assigned.
Checks expiration dates of products located on par level locations of patient care areas.
Cleans patient care equipment as directed by department policy.
Maintains par level of equipment. Restocks equipment as needed.
Works independently with Material services staff to change par levels of stock as necessary.
Works in collaboration with the nursing and other staff to introduce new products into the NICU.
Requirements
High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) Requires the level of technical knowledge normally acquired through completion of high school Required
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required
Requires analytical skills in order to identify problems, troubleshoot and find the most efficient solutions to problems.
Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact courteously and tactfully with patients, parents/families and members of the health care team
The ability to represent the organization and serve consumers in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services.
Possess willingness and initiative to successfully complete educational requirements and develop and learn new skills as required by the unit.

Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

The Behavioral Health Technician I position is responsible for providing direct and supportive care to clients/patients. This includes monitoring daily activities, intervening/responding to crises, facilitating group education and structured activities, and transporting clients as needed. Behavioral Health Technicians are responsible for understanding the client's/patient's treatment plan, documenting their behaviors, and providing a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Active Participation: Participate as an integral member of the treatment team, assisting in identifying client strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences. Carrying out any additional requests from your supervisor.
* Program Compliance: Ensure adherence to all program expectations and rules, reporting behaviors to supervisors for effective therapeutic interventions
* Medication Policies: Adhere rigorously to all medication policies and collaborate with trained nursing staff to guarantee compliance, whether the medication is administered by the client/patient or PFH associate.
* Admission/Orientation Assistance: Assist in the admission/orientation process, including obtaining vital signs if applicable, safety searches of client/patient and belongings, and collecting any necessary urine/lab specimens for testing.
* Client Education and Support: Assist and educate clients/patients in performing daily activities as needed.
* Transportation Assistance: Provide transportation support for clients/patients as required.
Experience and Education Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment.
* Experience in Human Services or a related field preferred.

* Exceptions to qualifications may be made by the Executive Team member.
