Job Duties
Provide engineering expertise to the design and development of improved and/or new company products for material handling industry.
Concept Product Design - Present creative, workable ideas in a well-planned form to supervision for approval. Perform in-depth analytical engineering to develop solutions involving complete structures, power and/or performance.
Layout Design - Create layouts of proposed design. Ensure that designs are functional, safe, reliable, serviceable, manufacturable, cost effective and esthetically and ergonomically correct. Select appropriate materials, organize bill of materials data and approve detail drawings.
Monitor Prototype Creation - Order parts, request specific testing and assist in building prototypes. Review test results to ensure proper functioning and redesign upon need.
Product Release - Assist in engineering design release to production. Assist purchasing, quality and manufacturing engineering in preparation for production. Assist service and marketing departments in developing product service manual or literature content or resolving content discrepancies.
Project Leadership - Support supervisor with creation of project plans/schedules and provide status reports as required. Provide technical support to other engineers as required. Respond to questions from purchasing, sales, engineering and other departments.
Miscellaneous - Attend training courses, conferences and meetings on application of new technology. Assist in the development and maintenance of design guidelines. Review colleagues' designs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
2 or more years of mechanical design experience (Salary will be commensurate with experience)

* Managing dispensing and tank farm process design with consultants and vendors through concept, basic, and detailed design phases, and actively participating in design reviews and workshops to ensure robust, compliant, and scalable system design.
* Leading and overseeing dispensing and tank farm equipment package execution, including vendor selection, FAT, installation, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ, while coordinating with technical teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to optimize system performance and integration.

About the role
As an Engineer specializing in warehouse and AGV systems, you will support capital investment projects and factory logistics initiatives. You'll assist in implementing automated warehouse infrastructure, AGV deployment, and intralogistics improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability while aligning with plant performance goals.
Your responsibilities
* Support execution of warehouse and AGV scope across the project lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams, consultants, and suppliers to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
* Assist in warehouse and AGV system design phases (concept, basic, detailed) with design consultants and vendors; participate in design reviews and workshops.
* Provide technical support for AGV and warehouse automation packages including racking systems, conveyors, WMS integration, charging stations, and navigation infrastructure during installation and commissioning.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders (production, maintenance, quality, R&D) for system handover and documentation.
* Support startup activities including commissioning of AGV fleets and warehouse systems, validation protocols, and integration into SOP and PM frameworks.
* Ensure documentation complies with GDP standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, OSHA, ISO).
* Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, and documentation such as layout drawings, URS, and traffic flow maps.
* Participate in project meetings to communicate progress and identify risks.
* Monitor contractors and installation teams under supervision to ensure compliance with standards and support commissioning activities.

The experience we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
