The Senior Commissioning Authority guides the technical design of projects as subject matter expert, mentor, and resource to the technical team. Position delegates, leads, and directs work of Commissioning Authorities and Commissioning Analysts. Role will conceptualize, execute, and ensure quality throughout the design process to meet our clients' needs and expectations. Aside from the preferred locations listed, this position is open to any location with a Stantec office presence, for the right candidate.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manages company's technical project process and scope of work within own discipline; reviews schedule and budgeted hours; finds and resolves all inconsistencies with project manager.
- Delegates tasks to project engineers and designers within own discipline as appropriate.
- Follows company's quality management process; conducts project reviews and approvals before all QA/QC reviews done by the technical authority.
- Maintains strong client relations; able to understand and articulate project and design requirements, progress, and troubleshooting to clients and technical staff.
- Coordinates well with all disciplines to fully integrate work and client requests into design.
- Acts as supervisor and resource to technical design team; supports and assists staff education and development.

- Delegates and oversees project tasks to be performed by other Cx team members project engineers and designers within their own discipline.
- Develops commissioning test scripts to be performed in the field by the construction team and contractors. This includes highly complex MEP equipment and systems.
- Participates in project site visits and regularly attends project meetings as necessary.
- Carefully identifies and tracks field issues to be completed by various project team members. Contributes to the completion of the commissioning report that captures the overall findings of all commissioning related activities.

Education and Experience
- Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 10 years related industry experience or 5 years as Stantec employee (internship counts as ½ year.)
- Professional certification in Commissioning (e.g. CCP, BCxP, QCxP, etc.)

**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking a Geologist II to be based in our Atlanta, Georgia office. This position will support our Remediation team within our Environment business line. This position is expected to begin immediately.
The Geologist II will serve as a team member in the field and the office, assisting project and program management with implementation of soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water investigative and remediation programs, data analysis, and report preparation.
This is a field-based role comprising approximately 75% fieldwork and 25% office-based work. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about environmental investigation and remediation and will join a large established team conducting environmental assessment and remediation projects.
This position requires excellent written and spoken communication skills, organizational and time management skills, flexibility to work on a range of projects, and a positive attitude. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and have the ability to work both independently and as a part of a project team.
Please take note this role will require travel outside of the Atlanta Metropolitan area (from days to weeks) to support projects as needed across the region and the United States.
The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
+ Utilizing various techniques to generate data from remedial or investigative field work. Field work includes but is not limited to soil/groundwater/vapor sampling, soil boring/monitoring well installations with various drilling techniques (i.e., DPT, HSA, sonic, air rotary, mud-rotary, etc.), operations and maintenance of remedial systems, etc.

KCI is seeking full-time Engineers-in-Training to participate in the KCI Rotational Engineering program. The goal of the program is to provide a unique opportunity for recent engineering degree recipients to gain exposure to, and experience in, a range of functional roles and assignments. Your Capabilities and Credentials
Working understanding of policies and procedures for Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) protection, including client-specific training (as required).
Experience with field construction activities and construction quality management is required; experience with construction materials laboratory testing is a plus.
Interested candidates should have (or have the ability to obtain) certifications related to the position (ACI Level 1 Field Concrete Technician, nuclear density gauge, NICET, Geosynthetics Certification Institute's Inspector Certification Program, etc.).
Previous construction experience with relevant experience in the following general areas is preferred, but is not a prerequisite:
Working on or around power or industrial facilities, flood control structures and impoundments, solar energy systems, etc.

Geosynthetic liner systems

Your Opportunity
Stantec is looking for a driven Environmental Project Manager to lead impactful work across Georgia. Join a team providing permitting strategy, environmental assessment and application preparation, and technical support for projects that require municipal, provincial/state, and federal environmental approvals and licenses.
Your Key Responsibilities
Manage diverse projects and key client relationships-from residential and commercial permitting, mitigation/conservation banking, water resources, roadway, natural gas pipelines, Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) facilities, solar facilities, and other energy related projects.
Lead permitting efforts at the local, state, national, and federal level including agency coordination with United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Georgia agencies, following NEPA, Endangered Species Act (ESA), and Clean Water Act (CWA), etc compliance.
Coordinate agency communications, oversee technical assessments, and guide project teams through successful execution.
Initiates, prepares and reviews proposals and client contracts, including fee estimation, project set-up and execution of work with senior management assistance.
Responsible for project setup, project delivery, project controls, client satisfaction and contract management.
Prepares work plans, assembles project team, delegates tasks and ensures compliance with scope and timely completion of tasks.
Establishes and maintains quality assurance plans and safety plans for assigned projects.
Mentorship of early career and mid-level staff; potential supervision of staff.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Strong background in environmental permitting, impact assessments, water quality, and performing wetland delineations and habitat evaluations for protected species.
Familiarity with Georgia-specific processes (USACE Savannah District, Stream Buffer Variance, GDOT protocols).
Industry connections in energy, residential, or commercial sectors-especially in the Atlanta metro area.
Deep understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Desired Qualifications
Professional certifications (Professional Wetland Scientist, Project Manager Professional, Professional Wildlife Biologist, Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission-Georgia Environmental Protection Division Erosion and Sediment, etc.) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience with Wetland and listed species permitting in Georgia including but not limited to understanding of the Section 404 CWA/Section 10 Rivers and Harbors Act (RHA) process as implemented by the USACE Savannah District; Stream Buffer Exemption Verification and Variance Procedures, Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GDNR) Erosion and Sediment Rules and Regulations, United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and GDNR Wildlife Resources Division (WRD) Species evaluations and coordination.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, biological resources or closely related field.
Minimum of 7 years' experience providing or managing technical services in a professional services setting, preferable in the Southeastern US. (Experience in Georgia is required)
Experience in managing and providing environmental consulting services to project developers in support of project siting, design, and permit applications.
Local, state, and Federal compliance and environmental permitting experience required.
5 years' experience in a client-facing role (including business development and/or client management).
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
