The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. Responsibilities
Execute assigned general labor tasks efficiently and effectively.
Lead in the conversion of spaces to suit the requirements of diverse events.
Set up and dismantle chairs, tables, stages, air walls, and any other equipment as necessary.
Ensure thorough cleaning of event areas after each event concludes.
Stay updated on operational schedules and event calendars, adapting to any changes.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Position Summary
Performs a variety of tasks related to custodial and cleaning services during facility use. Also responsible for routine trash removal and facility clean up. Ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, or holidays in preparing for an event. Ability to perform routine custodial and minor maintenance work in the cleaning and care of the facilities.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00.

About the Venue
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events, such as athletic competitions, cultural arts showcases, concerts, theater performances, educational activities, fairs, exhibits, as well as public and private gatherings, including conventions, convocations, trade shows, and consumer shows. It plays a crucial role as a hub of community activities and significantly contributes to the regional economy.
The Complex is made up of nine venues, the largest being the renowned 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, which has a storied history of hosting prestigious ACC and NCAA basketball championships, and a concert history featuring legendary artists like Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Elvis Presley, as well as today's biggest artists like Drake, Bad Bunny, and Taylor Swift. The Complex also includes the 167,000-square foot Special Events Center, encompassing three exhibition halls, a 4,500-seat mini-arena, and eight meeting rooms. Additionally, there's White Oak Amphitheatre, Piedmont Hall, the Novant Health Fieldhouse, Greensboro Aquatic Center, The Terrace, ACC Hall of Champions, and the 300-seat Odeon Theatre. As one of the most actively booked facilities in the country, the Greensboro Complex annually hosts over 1,100 events. Its extraordinary flexibility and reputation have earned it worldwide acclaim among promoters, producers, event planners, and patrons alike.
Responsibilities
Mix and prepare cleaning products; clean Coliseum interior and exterior; vacuum, sweep, mop, clean and wax floors. Ensures a safe environment for patrons; removes liquids and debris from walkways through the building during events.
Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures; replenish supplies in restrooms. Wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops.
Remove and dispose of debris from parking lots, walkways, and Coliseum facilities; empty waste receptables.
Perform additional staff functions for events.
All employees will exercise resource stewardship and report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance.
Required to follow OSHA and in house safety guidelines.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of related working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies and equipment.
Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Abilility to walk/stand the entire shift, bend, and stoop.
Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Required to successfully complete on site CPR and blood borne pathogen training.
