The work you will do:
This position is located within the Bureau of Public Engagement of the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes. It is an in-office position is a part of the education team, and is responsible for providing education to the public, presenting material to the public relating to the division's jurisdictional areas, creating and updating new and existing materials for the public, as well as materials for internal training, participating in public seminars, reviewing for approval of board member certification course materials and conducting public outreach.
Your Specific Responsibilities:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for educating the public regarding condominium, cooperative and timeshare associations. This includes:
* Creating PowerPoint presentations that include educational material regarding the Division's program areas;
* Speaking with constituents in person and telephonically to provide education regarding the Division's program areas;
* Conducting outreach to the surrounding areas regarding the education program;
* Presenting to the public in-person and virtually;
* Assisting with the development of the Division's brochures, manuals, newsletters, and educational materials.
* Assisting with the research, preparation, and dissemination of educational materials.
* Communicating with the supervisor on a daily basis.
* Performing other work as required.
* Conducts travel.
Minimum Requirement:
* Two years' experience in training and/or conducting investigations;
* Valid Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
* Proficient in using Word, Excel, Division's case management and document management systems.
* Knowledge of the provisions of chapters 326, 718, 719, 721 and 723, Florida Statutes, and the related Florida Administrative Code.
* Ability to assist with research, prepare, review and disseminate educational materials.
* Ability to share information in a training situation.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
* Examines filings submitted to the division to determine whether such documents comply with the requirements of the applicable laws and rules.
* Examines filings within the timeframes required by law, rule, or bureau procedures. The primary job tasks are reading large files, conducting research, and writing letters.
* Prepares deficiency notices, approval letters, documentation relating to the filling rejections, and related correspondence pursuant to applicable laws, rules, and bureau procedures.
* Inputs deficiencies, responses, extensions, and approval data into the filing tracking database. Performs quality control for project and developer and manages entity data input by others. Codes documents immediately upon approval to facilitate permanent retention.
* Participate in ongoing bureau training programs and section meetings, especially to promote accuracy in comprehension of applicable laws and rules and consistency between sections and bureaus.
* Prepares appropriate documentation, upon request, related to compliance of filed or unfiled documents.

Job Summary:
The Extended Foster Care Review (FCR) Specialist reports to the Permanency and Youth Services Manager, and is responsible for coordination/facilitation of the administrative review panel for young adults in extended foster care. In addition, this position ensures young adults in the extended foster care program have the support, services, and quality case management needed to successfully transition to adulthood. This position models the Youth Thrive culture and philosophy when working with young adults and Department of Child Safety (DCS) Specialists.
Job Duties:
* Completes case reviews and meetings with young adults, young adult's supports, and DCS Specialists. Researches, analyzes, writes, updates, monitors, and coordinates information related to the review. Works on improvements and quality assurance processes for program.
* Compiles programmatic and fiscal requirements for assigned areas of responsibility, including preparing programmatic reports, and developing/monitoring goals, outcomes and benchmarks.

This Nursing Program Specialist position supervises the TB program and provides specialized Tuberculosis (TB) case management and clinical services for the Communicable Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP) clinics in the Florida Department of Health in Collier County (Collier CHD, in accordance with Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and DOH policies, procedures, and guidelines. Requires the ability to work independently within scope of practice as designated by Florida Statute (FS) 464 and to follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and practices related to respiratory and blood borne pathogens. Responsible for the supervision of staff Including appraisals, planning and directing their work, approving leave and having the authority for hiring and taking disciplinary action or effectively recommending such actions. This position spends the majority of the time engaged in supervisory responsibilities. Effectively manages the assigned case load and enters documentations in Health Management System (HMS), and/or Florida Shots accurately and timely. Is knowledgeable of current TB recommendations from the CDC, American Thoracic Society, and the Infectious Disease Society of America. Performs contact investigation for suspect/active pulmonary TB cases and enters contact investigation data into the TB contact module. Provides client assessment and case management for latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) in accordance with DOH policies and technical assistance guidelines and DOH-Collier policies and procedures. Accurately documents all LTBI case management and interventions in HMS.
Conducts accurate patient assessment, for all functional areas assigned, based on client diagnosis and needs which may include health history, allergies, current medications, signs and symptoms, physical assessment, vital signs, hearing and vision testing, behavioral and social information, and risk factors.

Position Overview
The essential function of this position within the Circuit is to assist judges and magistrates in the administration and timely disposition of cases in the civil, probate, guardianship, family, domestic violence and mental health divisions through case management, case monitoring, and program implementation. Key Responsibilities
Although the work is performed under the close supervision of the Director of Case Management, it requires independent judgment, attention to detail, consistent job performance, reliability, significant organization, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow the limitations of service guidelines so that the unlicensed practice of law is not performed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CIRCUIT CIVIL DIVISION
Employees in this classification will be assigned to one or multiple divisions outlined below, but will be cross-trained in all divisions to assist when necessary. Employees may also perform other duties as assigned and articulated by the Director of Case Management. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.
Duties and responsibilities relate to cases involving civil, probate, guardianship, involuntary civil commitment of sexually violent predators, and mental health cases.
Duties and Responsibilities - Court Program Specialist in the Circuit Civil Divison :
Serve as point of contact for litigants and attorneys requesting information on procedural issues, scheduling, and processing of orders for civil, probate, guardianship and mental health cases;
Maintain positive interactions with judges, trial court staff, attorneys, litigants, clerks, ancillary agency staff, the general public and all other individuals involved in employee's daily interactions to ensure a positive and productive working environment;
Serve as point of contact to initiate mental health Baker Act/Marchman Act, Risk Protection Order or involuntary placement procedures once new petitions have been filed with the Clerk.
Monitor compliance with Jimmy Ryce cases and provide reports to assigned judge;
Monitor and determine case status and schedule hearings; determines whether to set a case management conference or appropriate hearing or proceed without a hearing and prepare appropriate court order, notice or correspondence;
Provide assistance to judges in the management of their assigned caseloads;
Review and compiles information for the judges on pertinent issues regarding the status of open cases in the circuit and advises the assigned judge of cases requiring attention;
Manage and prepare cases for court hearings by preparing historical summations, and provide corresponding cases and other documentation pertinent to the case and/or litigants;
Prepare and maintain court dockets, attend court hearings, take notes, compose and prepare appropriate orders based on rulings, and provide information to the Court as needed;
Prepare and process Reports and Recommendations for cases set in front of the General Magistrate;
Serve as the point of contact for cases being heard before the General Magistrate;
Coordinate the 6-month calendar dates for civil for the General Magistrate;
Make copies, address envelopes, and distribute correspondence and court orders, judgments and reports as necessary;
Monitor and communicate with the Clerk of Court regarding the issuance of Clerk's Memorandums to the Judge in probate cases that are in violation of time standards. Issue 15-day notices accordingly;
Monitor compliance with probate 15-day Notice and set compliance hearings if necessary;
Answer phone calls, emails and correspondence from litigants, attorneys and the general public regarding case status information and procedures;
Prepare proper notices and orders as directed by the judges;
Provide coverage for other court personnel located within the circuit when needed;
Participate in councils and workgroups to exchange information, solve problems, and coordinate services.
Attend and/or conduct staff and other professional meetings to train/provide information;
Maintain daily, monthly and yearly statistics regarding the volume of cases handled by the program;
Perform clerical support tasks, such as correspondence; create and maintain record systems for efficient case management;
Attend professional seminars or conferences to improve skills and knowledge;
Perform all other duties assigned and articulated by the Director of Case Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school may substitute for two years of the recommended experience.

The Payroll Specialist assists in the processing of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for approximately 1,600 legislative employees of the Florida Senate, House of Representatives, and the Joint Offices.
OUR ORGANIZATION
The Office of Legislative Services provides centralized administrative, management and support services to the Florida Senate, House of Representatives and other legislative offices. The HR Office reports to the Coordinator for the Office of Legislative Services.
The HR Office oversees employment processes such as attendance and leave, onboarding, payroll, workers compensation and benefits administration for the Florida Legislature. The HR Office manages the Legislature's Human Capital Management System (HCM) and assists the offices with recruiting and training efforts. The HR Office is responsible for compliance with policies and procedures and all appropriate approvals regarding personnel actions.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
· Ensure that bi-weekly, monthly, and supplemental payroll is processed in accordance with Legislative procedures. · Perform general payroll audits and reconciliations. · Monitor leave without pay, reconcile leave and process leave payouts. · Enter salary overpayments in FLAIR and ensuring salary overpayments are collected. · Process on-demand payments such as underpayments, adjustments, and leave payments. · Process warrant cancellations.

Program Overview
The Developmental Disabilities Defendant Program operates on the campus of Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee and at Pathways in Marianna under the auspices of The State of Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). The Developmental Disabilities Defendant Program (DDDP) is dedicated to empowering persons with developmental disabilities charged with a felony crime to:
1. Acquire the skills and supports that will prepare them for success in their future environments.
2. Acquire the skills needed to become competent to stand trial.
Position Summary
Duties of an Educational and TrainingSpecialist include:
The development, evaluation, and coordination of the Developmental Disabilities Defendant Program and Pathways Training and Professional Development Program.
Research and develop curricula using computer programs such as PowerPoint, Captivate, Articulate or other computer software programs for the improvement and development of our agency staff through New Employee Orientation (NEO) and continuing training.
Ensure In-service training programs are planned, coordinated, delivered, and tracked for compliance, and monitors all annual training requirements for staff.
Update the Learning Management System (LMS) and provide reports as requested.
Administer the crisis prevention and intervention program for the DDDP/Pathways. This includes ordering the required classroom and other materials required by required to maintain professional certification. Coordinate the training schedules for instructors and staff, deliver training as scheduled and provide management reports regarding the status of the certification dates for current staff.
Develop, deliver, coordinate, and/or schedule specialized training to include quarterly staff updates, supervisory, operational, and/or specialized training requested by the Management Team.
Work in partnership with the State Office Training staff to coordinate, schedule and monitor the required online training to ensure that all staff fully comply with required training mandates. Work in partnership with managers and supervisors, generating reports to ensure that all staff are in full compliance with all training mandates.
What We DO
DDDP is a forensic facility working with individuals with disabilities in a secure setting. These individuals have been adjudicated by the courts as incompetent to proceed to trial and have significant behavioral and psychiatric issues. DDDP provides rehabilitative, vocational, and daily living skills training to the individuals served which allows for a smooth transition back into a non-secure residential or community setting.
Pathways is a 34-bed all male forensic facility working with individuals with disabilities in a secure setting. These individuals have been adjudicated by the courts as incompetent to proceed to trial and have significant behavioral and psychiatric issues. Pathways provides rehabilitative, vocational, and daily living skills training to the individuals served which allows for a smooth transition back into a non-secure residential or community setting.

Develops reinforcer preference inventories in conjunction with psychology staff. Conducts reinforcer preference inventories with individuals served. Maintains an inventory of appropriate reinforcer and coping skill items to be utilized by individuals hospital wide.
* Conducts personal safety plans for individuals on assigned caseload upon admission, annually and after any significant event such as seclusion or restraint. The personal safety plan is utilized as a first line intervention in de-escalating individuals served.
* Provides enrichment/enhancement activities on assigned living areas as needed. Provides group coverage for the psychology department as indicated and directed by supervisor. Attends recovery team meetings on assigned living areas.

* Documents progress and resident reactions/perspective of individual progress by completing progress notes according to the mental health facility procedures and policies.
* Conducts assessments, interviews and record reviews. Consults and communicates with recovery team members to identify resident service needs (strengths, needs, abilities and preferences).

Minimum Qualifications:
* An associate's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred with a major in nursing, education, or a social, behavioral or rehabilitative science and two years of experience involving the application of behavior modification principles; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in nursing, education, or a social, behavioral or rehabilitative science.
* Experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the college education.
