The Core Description - Perform general labor tasks for the production and packaging of products, including placing components or finished products in appropriate bins, mixers, presses or other machinery. The Day-to-Day - Work collaboratively with computer-controlled equipment designed for extruding, wire drawing, winding, and packaging materials. Prepare chemical compounds or other components used in the production or assembly process. This may include set-up, operation, monitoring, maintenance, and/or cleaning of equipment. May require mechanical aptitude and spatial ability as well as continuous use of hands including grasping, pushing, and pulling.

Understanding, following and enforcing all risk reduction procedures including wearing specified protective clothing and safety equipment where required.

What you bring to the table
The Dryer Operator ensures that liquid intermediate product is spray dried, meeting all specifications set on the finished product, and following all Safety, Quality and Food Safety procedures of the company. The Dryer Operator is in charge of managing and monitoring up to 3 spray drying equipment. The position reports directly to the Supervisor, but may also receive direction from Superintendent or other management personnel as required. This position is 6 PM - 6 AM on a rotational schedule.
What you'll do as a Dryer Operator
The drying of food products requires flexibility on the part of all personnel as operations change depending upon the needs of the customer. This will require a Dryer Operator to train and work in other departments on a periodic basis in order to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
* Understand and follow safety, GMP, food safety, and other rules or policies.
* Perform sanitation on equipment, infrastructure, grounds, and other assigned areas.
* Monitor quality assurance controls during the production process. For example, product analysis, and code date verifications are performed on a routine basis to ensure the customer receives a quality product. Record and maintain accurate written and electronic information.
* Operate packing line safely and efficiently.
* Inspect dryer infrastructure, monitor dryer equipment and notify management when maintenance is required.
* Assist in trouble-shooting of equipment and process problems.
* Notify Supervisor of equipment failures and when major process problems or variations in the process are detected.
* Communicate and interact with other employees and management personnel in a respectful and effective manner.
* Learn all equipment in Drying. Cover shifts as scheduled.
* Train and work in other departments in the facility as needed. This may include, cleaning, and filling in for various absences throughout the facility. Work is assigned depending upon operational needs.
* Other duties as assigned.

Night Shift Chemical Flaking Stand-up ForkliftOperator
Reporting directly to the Flaking Supervisor, the Chemical Flaking Stand-up ForkliftOperator 1 is responsible for performing all required duties and operating all necessary equipment to ensure the continuous and effective operation of the Flaking department in order to meet stated production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotation (Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, repeat)
This schedule includes working every other weekend.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
A High School Diploma, GED, or earning within a designated period of time following date of hire.
Kind & Length of Experience:
1 year of stand-up forklift experience is required; 2+ years preferred
1 year of continuous work history with a company required; 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Able to work in ambient temperatures (high and low);
Able to work a 12-hour shift with rotating schedule;
Able to change elevation using ramps, stairs, and ladders;
Able to stand and walk for extended periods (e.g., greater than one hour);

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MATERIAL ASSOCIATE, MATERIAL HANDLER OR LOADER POSITION
You will operate a multidirectional lift or Hyundai, counter balance lift to pick loose material orders. Must be able to operate lift in tight quarters, maneuvering in various locations throughout the 50+ acre site. Loose material includes lumber, panels, hardware, engineered wood products (EWP) and other products as the warehouse manager assigns. This position may also unloads incoming trucks and railcars and other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager. Required Qualifications
* Minimum 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred.
* Must be able to lift up to 101lbs at one time occasionally. Material Associates will be off forklift more than on, lifting 25-50 lbs on a regular basis. Material Handlers will be on a forklift 90% of the time with less physical lifting required.
* Must detail orientated and precise and operate a forklift in tight quarters in a full yard
* Operateforklifts in safe manner.
* Prior forklift certification preferred.
* Attention to detail and able to load materials in a cart in preparation for loader position to load onto flatbed trailers for safe transport.

Position Summary:
Responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and other equipment to receive, stock, pick, load, transfer and ship raw or finished products, and ensuring accurate and complete documentation of same.
Responsibilities:
o Uses sit down and stand up fork lifts to stock, pick, and transport pallets of raw/finished products in warehouse, load/unload trucks, transfer products.
o Utilizes computerized system which may include radio frequency to maintain records of product movement in and out of warehouse.
o Packs and weighs boxes of products and assigns appropriate methods of shipping in accordance with customer needs; prepares related documents.
o Manually restacks pallets, restacks raw material drums up to 600 pounds via rolling/pushing, and picks products from shelves (10 to 150 pounds) and loads on forklift.
o Checks forklift for safety and smooth operation daily (e.g., fluids, horns, back up lights).
o Operates wrapping machine to securely wrap boxes loaded on pallets; adjusts controls for tension, size, etc.
o Performs inventory duties including counting, verifying and checking documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
o Completes batch and other records and physically checks materials against records and inventory documents; fills out weigh tags accurately and completely; and places quarantine stickers on vendor receipts.
o Enters data from various inventory and batch records into computer ensuring accuracy and completeness.
o Communicates with leads and supervisors on schedules and priorities to ensure smooth flow of correct materials into manufacturing and other areas in accordance with production schedules.
o Uses orders to locate and pull specific items from shelves and packs them for shipment; uses fork lift as necessary to move product.
o Performs a variety of other clerical duties in support of the department including production of daily shipping paperwork, answering telephone and taking requests and messages, inventory control maintenance, preparation of miscellaneous pre-pack kits and other mailings, quarterly and other mailings, and incoming and outgoing deliveries and shipments.
o Performs all duties in compliance with safety rules.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
