Function as a Journeyman for Bergelectric Corp.; installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state and local electrical codes along with all Bergelectric Corp. policies and procedures. Support activities at commercial, industrial, institutional and residential locations. This is considered to be a safety sensitive position. Responsibilities Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems in full support of Bergelectric Corp. safety, operations and productivity initiatives. Use industry related hand tools and power tools. Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems. Journeyman ElectricianIn this role, you will install the electrical components of our solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. It requires traveling from one worksite to another, working closely with our field crews on rooftops of commercial or residential buildings. Responsibilities As the Foreman, you will direct the daily activities on assigned projects and manage all aspects of Production, Scheduling, Safety, Quality Control, and Administration while reporting directly to the projects Superintendent Lead the development of a comprehensive project plan utilizing the Corbins Project Plan Development Guidelines Execute production tracking for assigned construction projects Collaborate with Field Support team including Purchasing, Prefabrication, and Virtual Construction to maintain project flow Promote Corbins in a positive light at all times when dealing with customers, trade partners, subcontractors, and other industry professionals Ensure professional resolution of escalated field related issues and customer satisfaction Identify project prefabrication opportunities and develop project kitting plan Qualifications Working knowledge of construction, electrical work, systems, and troubleshooting Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and OSHA safety standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 5+ years of Electrical Construction experience **An OSHA-30 card is required for this role. Corbins will provide training for you to obtain this if you do not currently have it** Safety Level This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply. The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions.
