Job Summary:

The Paraprofessional StudentInternship is designed to provide support and assist the classroom teacher in providing instruction, perform classroom clerical tasks, and developing students' academic, daily living and behavioral skills. The intern will assist in creating a positive, safe, and productive learning environment. Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Clinical Intern to join our adolescent treatment team. This internship provides hands-on experience delivering therapeutic services to adolescents ages 13 - 17, under the supervision of licensed clinicians. Interns will gain exposure to a variety of modalities, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group interventions.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family sessions under licensed supervision
Conduct intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning
Co-facilitate evidence-based groups (e.g., DBT skills, CBT, emotional regulation, substance use education)
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Participate in weekly supervision and multidisciplinary team meetings
Support crisis intervention efforts in accordance with program protocols

Internship Objectives:

Supports in maintaining client satisfaction.
Ensures clear communication about school expectations including holiday breaks to both their clinical team and to their clients in a timely, clear, conscious, and professional manner.

Required Qualifications:
