    Job Type: Part time To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position is focused on learning the basics of college campus ministry. This position is limited to students who are currently enrolled in a four-year or community college. Second year students and students enrolled at a community college may intern at a two-year/community college. Third year students and higher can work at a four-year or community college. Non-InterVarsity students who attend a Christian college must have third or fourth year standing. GROWTH OBJECTIVES Develop in college campus ministry leadership Grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, ministry experience and skills, and mature as a disciple of Jesus Christ Develop daily spiritual disciplines Pursue spiritual relationships and involvement in a worshipping community Discern God's call to ministry service with InterVarsity and its mission MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction Contribute to the accomplishment of the campus ministry team's plans for spiritual growth and transformation Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives Promote the Mission on campus (to advance witnessing communities that are bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse): Seek opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ Learn to guide chapters (or assigned segments of a chapter) in the development of strategic thinking regarding witness to the university Learn to model and assist students and faculty in growing in their love for God's people of every ethnicity and culture Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, especially focusing on those who do not yet follow Jesus as Lord and Savior Engage positively with the supervision and training you receive from your staff ministry trainer and/or director Assist with reporting as assigned Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to individual ministry partners and churches, through prayer, discussion of ministry efforts, mission, and accomplishments Other duties as assigned by supervisor QUALIFICATIONS A follower of Jesus Christ Annually affirm InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement A developing passion for evangelism Demonstrates campus ministry leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness and cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, eagerness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity. Pay Range: $31,320.00 - $41,772.00 per year Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received, including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual's ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details. Program participants protect and restore national parks, national forests, wildlife refuges, marine sanctuaries, cultural landmarks, community green spaces, and much more across the country. Internship Dates: November 3, 2025 - February 21, 2026 Individual Placement Description - This project is to create positions for young individuals who will support interpretive programming at Tuskegee Institute (TUIN), Tuskegee Airmen (TUAI), and Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail (SEMO) to inform and educate all visitors who enter these park sites. Project work will include the offering of formal and informal programs such as guided activities, roving talks, Jr. Ranger Programs, and park orientations about the park's natural, cultural, and historic resources, and will be conducted at the park and off-site within the community. Performance Goals - To educate park visitors and provide opportunities for young people to learn about the nation's resources by spending time working on projects in National Parks to motivate them to become involved in the natural, cultural, and/or historical resource protection of their communities and beyond, resulting in shared environmental stewardship. Position Purpose Reporting into the Practice Manager, the Groomer looks after the condition of the patient's coat by providing services to keep the patient clean and well-cared for. Working with a variety of patients (breeds and sizes), the Groomer is responsible for patient bathing, fur and teeth brushing, nail trimming and grinding. The Groomer engages with clients to understand expectations, patient special needs, and desired outcomes. The Groomer is also responsible to ensure grooming rooms or designated space is clean, sanitized, safe, and secure. Essential Responsibilities Admits patients noting the client's specific instructions to ensure a quality outcome including contact information and pick up time. Determines any veterinary services required during the client's visit. In accordance with hospital operating instructions, determines care required in agreement with the individual needs and circumstances of the patients. Provides medication (when instructed) and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips (when instructed) and ear cleansing, as required for each patient. Applies technical knowledge of products and medications sold, including dietary products. Explains and educates clients on products and answers questions regarding product purchase/use. Performs work according to established methods specified in practice procedure manual or following special instructions. Performs all general maintenance of grooming room and yard; cleans and disinfects cages, tubs, grooming tables, and yard at least once daily. Vacuums and mops floor; empties trash; cleans clipper blades, scissors and brushes after use; performs monthly dryer and clipper maintenance. Delivers final groomed patient to client and ensures satisfaction. Appropriately addresses concerns. Where applicable, trains, supervises, and assists the Grooming Assistant in their performance of a variety of service functions. Sets performance standards and monitor performance. Conducts timely performance evaluations. Performs other duties as assigned.
