The Riverside Innovation Hub (RIH) and the Sabo Center for Citizenship and Democracy (Sabo), in collaboration with the Brian Coyle Center, are seeking to hire two students for the 2026 spring academic year. This position is scheduled to work 10 and 20 hours a week respectively.
This collaboration aims to support the Brian Coyle Center's basic needs programs - primarily the food shelf - and other programs as needed (youth programs and public health).
The Sabo is Augsburg University's center for community engagement. Sabo connects Augsburg's campus with community members and organizations to build meaningful learning opportunities that support the everyday work of building and sustaining communities.
RIH invites Christian congregations to imagine their own thriving as intimately tied to the thriving of their local community. RIH orients people's curiosity and sense of call to be rooted in God's vision of flourishing for all, understood through the specific realities of the local community and in relationship with local neighbors.
The Brian Coyle Center is among the city's busiest social service centers with a continuum of programs designed around the neighborhood's rapidly changing immigrant communities. Responsibilities
Work with Brian Coyle Staff, Sabo and RIH to build systems to support food distribution for residents of Cedar-Riverside.
Build relationships with Brian Coyle staff and patrons.
Coordinate volunteers from local churches and the Augsburg University community.
Meet regularly with Sabo staff supervisor, one hour per week.

Join our Biology Department team as the Osteology Collection Student Intern and help us create a synoptic osteology reference collection. The Osteology Collection Student Intern executes the organization and rehousing of osteological specimens. They will execute all steps of inventorying and moving specimens and keep detailed records of specimens' new locations. As needed, they will conduct archival research to reunite specimens with their data and make custom cavity mounts for specimens. They will also support the process of accessioning and cataloging specimens in the collection, and will engage in outreach to share the impact of the project. They will follow directions from staff from the Biology, Anthropology, and Paleontology Collection and Collections Stewardship to deliver on project goals while performing day-to-day tasks independently. Funding for this project and position was provided by the David B. Jones Foundation to support creation of a reference collection for zooarchaeologists and paleontologists studying Minnesota's ancient faunal systems.
Schedule: 40 hours a week to be performed generally between 9 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend work required. Duration will be 10-12 weeks during the academic summer break.
Job Responsibilities:
Executes collection inventories and moves.
As directed, performs archives research on osteology specimens of uncertain data status.
Reorganizes osteology specimens and keeps detailed inventories of their new locations and destinations.
As directed, organizes information for accession and deaccession requests for osteology specimens for curatorial review.
Uninstalls, rehouses, and installs osteology specimens in collections.
As part of the rehousing process, makes custom cavity mounts for osteology specimens.
Communicates the results of the project at public events and at professional conferences.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate (2 or 4 year) degree program in a related field such as biology, archaeology, paleontology, or museum studies, with two years of coursework or equivalent experience completed by the start of the position, is required. Applicants who graduate with a Bachelor's degree in May 2026 may be considered, but strong preference will be given to applicants who are enrolled in Fall 2026 coursework.
Experience:
Strong knowledge of vertebrate skeletal anatomy is required. Experience working in museum collections is preferred.
Work Environment:
Natural history collections settings. Occasional domestic travel may be required, including fully-funded conference attendance after the end of the position. Most if not all work will be executed at SMM's downtown Saint Paul building.
Starting Compensation: $17.00 - $18.33/hour (depending on qualifications)

About this position
The Pharmacy Intern performs a combination of clinical and distributive pharmacy services, under the supervision of a pharmacist, necessary for the provision of pharmaceutical care to each customer. Job Description
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing and organizing the Pan-Asian Peer Mentor Program, including leading a team of four Family Leaders.
Coordinating and implementing events
Training Family Leaders & Mentors
Collaboration and coordination with Family Leaders, Mentors, and Mentees
Recruit Mentees (incoming first-years and transfer students)
Co-managing 50+ Students within the Mentor Program
Writing and submitting ADSG charter grants for funding
Assist with departmental events and organizing
Advising Student Organizations as needed from the Program Manager
The Intern will work closely with the MLife Student Specialist, Bonner Community Leader and the MLife Department programs
Qualifications
2.75 GPA or higher.
Completed at least one full academic year at Augsburg.
Enrollment at Augsburg University for the upcoming academic year.
Strong organizational skills.
Passion for working with students and peers of Asian descent.
Have previous active involvement/membership with at least one of the three student organizations: Augsburg Asian Student Association, Hmong Women Together, or Pan-Asian Peer Mentoring.
Flexibility in schedule for upcoming academic year up to 16 hours/week.
Experienced in event planning.
Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team.
