Located in our new Crisis Recovery Center on the DuPage County Campus in Wheaton, Crisis Services provides 24/7 crisis mental health services to county residents experiencing psychiatric crises or needing support for mental illness symptoms. In this on-call position, you will be required to work at least three (3) shifts per month, having evening and weekend availability, working no more than 1000 hours per year. We offer a $2.00 per hour shift differential for our second shift and $2.50 for our overnight shift.
Responsibilities
Supports maintenance of a safe, therapeutic environment for clients seeking services through Crisis Recovery Center programs on the Substance Use Stabilization Unit, Adult Mental Health Unit, and Youth Mental Health Unit, as well as in Crisis Residential.
Facilitates client safety and quality care in Crisis Residential and Crisis Recovery Center Programs, through completion of client rounding and belongings checks
Assists with client medication observation in Crisis programming as needed
Performs tasks related to maintaining environmental standards in crisis programming
Assist in de-escalation of clients experiencing a mental health crisis through engagement with client and coordination with team members providing clinical intervention.
Completion of required documentation within established timeframes, through use of an Electronic Client Record
Participates in team meetings to assess clients' progress.
Participates in emergency response activities as assigned.
Requirements
A qualified candidate must possess a valid State of Illinois Driver's license and have a good driving record. New employees are required to attend paid on-site, HR New Hire Orientation at our Central Public Health Center in Wheaton, during our day shift generally, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, for one week. Must have flexibility to work on the day shift for two weeks of additional training on site at the CRC.

Our Camp Counselor positions have the potential to serve as competitively paid internships that meet your course credit needs.
First and foremost, your primary responsibilities will be as a Camp Counselor. As an Intern, you will be expected to fulfill your regular daily job responsibilities and it will be up to you to complete your internship responsibilities and to ensure that they do not interfere with your work obligations. Contact your college advisor in advance and ask them if you can use your summer camp job as a practicum, internship or for other course credits. If KE Camps can meet your internship requirements, your on-site Camp Director will be your field supervisor and oversee your course work. You will also be connected to a KE Camps contact at our HQ in Skillman, NJ. To receive credit, you must complete the course, practicum or internship per your college's parameters and complete your summer employment.
As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Our Counselors interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child.
Camp Counselor Qualities

* Support Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campers
* Participate in all camp activities
* Supervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water (lifeguard certification not required)
* Help out where needed and lead activities when asked to by the Camp Director
* Complete other duties, as assigned

This position is responsible for the Family Engagement portion of the Head Start Program Performance Standards at the school level including (but not limited to) parent partnerships, community partnerships, and the creation and follow-up of family goals. The Family Worker will be responsible for the coordination of family engagement meetings and training as well as working closely with the staff of the Family Hub to bring parents/guardians into our schools and increase their involvement. Additionally, the Family Worker will be responsible for meeting the needs of all diverse learners. This includes paperwork, monitoring of IEPs and IFSPs, data entry, scheduling and facilitating family review meetings. The Family Worker will also be responsible for providing direct and indirect supportive services in medical health, dental health, and social services. This role will also assist the ERSEA Manager with the recruitment of students into our schools and is responsible for the enrollment of eligible children. This position must be available to work some evenings and weekends. This position will support both the Paulo Freire Center and the Guadalupano Family Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bachelor's degree in social services or related field (Masters preferred).
Hold a Gateways Family Specialist Credential Level 5.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Basic Function: Assumes various regular and /or delegated tasks, operating with a high degree of independent judgment. Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

Bridge families from Early Head Start to Head Start programs and services.
Conduct enrollment/re-enrollment with families and enter into database.
Maintain documentation of all site monitoring visits for review and families and children's files.
Provide office assistance as needed including, but not limited to, filing, answering phones, typing, creating spreadsheets and record keeping.
Attend staff meetings and training as directed by supervisor and maintain written meeting minutes.
Assist with facilitating the process of gathering monthly and annual program information reports and assure accuracy of the content of such reporting.
Be responsible in assisting with facilitating projects such as, but not limited to, Family Engagement Activities.
Ability to coordinate effectively with other team members, other Agency resources and outside services in addressing client needs.
