The Foster Care Social Worker will be responsible for managing a caseload of children/families in our Foster Care as assigned by the Supervising Social Worker/Director. Duties include but are not limited to: Perform written needs assessments; develop child's treatment plans and their updates. Meet and coordinate visitation with resource parents, children and child's parents/relatives or significant others. Complete and maintain all pertinent documentation and reports necessary for effective case management. Ensure resource family certification and recertification records, as well as all required documents are complete and accurately maintained per Agency procedures. Participate in recruitment and selection of resource parents; conduct in-service training for resource parents, as needed; provide on0call emergency support for resource homes and/or children. Skills/Requirements: Master's Degree in one of the following: social work or social welfare; marriage family and child counseling; child psychology; child development; counseling psychology; or social psychology from an accredited institution is required. Experience as a Foster Care Social Worker is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to respond in crisis situations and ability to speak clearly and present information both verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and customers. To receive credit, you must complete the course, practicum or internship per your college's parameters and complete your summer employment. As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Our Counselors interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child.
