**Minimum Qualifications:**

Our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) group homes support individuals with complex mental health and behavioral needs. Many of the people we serve have experienced frequent crises, hospital stays, or legal involvement. They may have a history of failed placements and need a highly structured environment to succeed.
Our homes are specially designed for safety, and our approach is consistent, person-centered, and focused on helping individuals reach their goals while maintaining safety for everyone. Due to the challenging nature of this work, staff receive training in behavioral support and crisis response, including the use of manual restraints when necessary.

Bachelor's degree required.
Current alcohol and drug counseling license in the state of Minnesota.

You will provide coverage to shelter/Transitional Living Program Wednesday-Sundays from 11pm - 7am each week. Youth Workers will provide a consistent, safe, and supportive milieu for each individual within an environment where the population served may present with a high level of need. The population served may change quickly and within a single shift. In this role, you will develop positive relationships with youth to help them identify immediate needs and/or plan next steps towards stability and how to advance towards those steps. You will also respond to crisis and emergent needs of youth seeking shelter.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Some experience working with youth preferred but not required.
* Experience with homeless, at-risk youth or children or youth who have been removed from their homes.
* Effective working knowledge of positive youth development, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care preferred.

Our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) group homes support individuals with complex mental health and behavioral needs. Many of the people we serve have experienced frequent crises, hospital stays, or legal involvement. They may have a history of failed placements and need a highly structured environment to succeed.
