Details
The MassageTherapist is responsible for providing massage therapy services to hospice patients according to their plan of care. Duties include but are not limited to:
Performs assessments, evaluations, and establishes a plan and goals for massage therapy.
Performs massage therapy treatments as prescribed by the Attending Physician and the Suncrest Hospice team.
Instructs patients, family and staff in the use of massage therapy.
Reports on client's response to treatment or any changes in condition.
Documents services delivered using electronic methods on day of service.
Attends team conferences upon request.
Participates in Performance Improvement activities, as requested.
Qualifications
Currently licensed to practice as a massagetherapist in the state of practice.
One year of massage therapy experience preferred.
Proof of professional liability insurance.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and required vehicle insurance.

Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed emotional and behavioral health disorders.

IOP COORDINATOR
Horizon Health is seeking an IOP coordinator to join our team at the IOP at Unity Point Health- Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA. In addition to providing direct high quality psychotherapy services to high functioning patients in assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning for the Intensive Outpatient Program, IOP Coordinator also plans and implements programs to meet the social and emotional needs of the patients. The Social Services Coordinator effectively participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team and the unit community relations team.
Responsibilities:
Complete psychosocial assessment, Plan of Action, and Plan of Action updates within established timeframe.
Develops and implements program plans for patient care during treatment and release from the program
Collaborate with psychiatrist directing the group to ensure quality continuation of care and schedule weekly medication management
Responsible for managing social services provided to patients and their families
Maintains compliance with state and federal confidentiality laws as well as upholding Horizon's confidentiality policies and procedures
Conducts individual, family, and group sessions in accordance with state/regulatory standards, displays sufficient theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and effective treatment techniques
Submits timely and accurate CQI+ outcome data on a weekly basis
Attends Unit and Hospital meetings as directed
Participates as an active member of the Referral Development Team
Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility
The Social Services Coordinator may fulfill the role of supervisor for the program in the absence of the Program Director and/or during weekend shifts

As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees of United Airlines in our Health Center located in Newark, NJ.

What You'll Do
Administers active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and heat, light, sound, water, and electrical modality treatments such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, ultraviolet, infrared, and hot and cold packs.
Administers traction to relieve neck and back pain.
Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily living activities.
Observes patients during treatments and compiles and evaluates data on patients' responses to treatments and progress and reports orally or in writing to Physical Therapist.
Fits patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
Confers with members of physical therapy staff and other health team members, individually and in conference, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
Performs clerical duties such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms.
Measures patient's range-of-joint motion, length and girth of body parts, and vital signs to determine effects of specific treatments or to assist Physical Therapist to compile data for patient evaluations.
May require other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Associates Degree from an approved/accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Certified or Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant if applicable in practicing State.
Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical provider is required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
