The Senior Escalations Expert works directly with Sunrun Customer Care, Collections, Field Service, Consumer Compliance, Legal, and Executives with a focus on customer satisfaction in order to effectively de-escalate priority, complex, and high risk customer disputes and prevent similar situations in the future. This person will be laser focused on customer communications, internal coordination, case management, and above all, being the beloved and trusted partner for our customers. POSTITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Expert is responsible for failure analysis of SMA's Large Scale & Project Solution products. Duties include root cause analyses, repair recommendations, generation of repair estimates, complex troubleshooting, training, and analysis of products and applications. The Regional Expert regularly communicates with other departments to resolve advanced issues and collaborate to improve product quality and serviceability.
PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibility is data analysis, determining warranty conditions and providing guidance for repair activities to SMA products, such as PV plant, Battery Storage systems, Medium Voltage products, and Power to Gas Solutions.
Organize and direct system wide analyses when necessary to support technical escalations for SMA customers.
Preparation of work instructions, process flows, and analyzing various field data.
Coaching of Field Service Engineers during complex system troubleshooting efforts.
Interpret advanced measurements, analysis, and reporting on SMA's Large Scale & Project Solution products installed in power plants.
Develops a detailed knowledge of SMA's Large Scale & Project Solution products and associated options.
Regularly works with high voltage and current for both AC and DC. Also regularly works with computer software and communication protocols of the SMA Large Scale & Project Solution products.
Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction while striving to lower the costs of field service.
Occasional travel for field work in collaboration with Field Service Team may be required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in engineering is strongly preferred.
3 to 5 years of experience in electrical, electronic, medium voltage, and or network communications are strongly preferred.
