Roles & Responsibilities: Coordinate, schedule, and manage all subcontractors and vendors. Expedite subcontractors and vendors on a daily and weekly basis. Identify and resolve construction-related issues as they develop. Supervise self-perform work and develop specialized construction methods to improve job efficiency. Oversee material receiving, ensuring all items are inspected for quantity and quality, and receiving tickets are signed, coded, and filed properly. Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost control records. Support jobsite reporting requirements, including: daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports and updates to the two-week lookahead schedules, monthly updates to the overall construction schedule, Review shop drawings and submittals to assist project managers in maintaining compliance with the submittal schedule and contract documentation. Attend all required jobsite meetings. Maintain consistent quality control in line with company standards. Minimum Requirements: Experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred. At least four (4) of these years must have been involved in managing all phases of construction work on multiple projects. Experience in new and modernization type construction.
