What You Will Do
Electrical Design & Development: Design and implement electrical systems and circuits for DCFC products, including but not limited to magnetics, circuit boards, wire harnesses, and integration with software controls.

Required Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Level II Engineer 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience in electrical design.
Level III Engineer 5+ years of hands- on engineering experience in electrical design.

Proven expertise in power conversion technologies, inverter and rectifier systems, energy storage systems, and grid interaction for UPS applications.
Experience with advanced research methodologies and a passion for exploring new, disruptive technologies.
Some familiarity with physical infrastructure systems (such as cooling, racks, power distribution, and monitoring systems) is preferred.
Strong understanding of global power standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements for UPS systems.
Demonstrated ability to innovate and think critically about long-term challenges and opportunities in the power electronics field.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

SCOPE: The Controls Engineer is responsible for development, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving automation control systems in a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility. Interfaces with production operators, maintenance, management, and engineering groups to achieve the best possible solutions to process control problems.
Maintains and troubleshoots plant manufacturing operations to ensure a safe workplace.
Assists electricians, and maintenance personnel as needed.
Implements new technology to maximize plant efficiency.
PLC specification and programming, including HMI development.
Documents changes made to processes.
Specify, apply, diagnose, and calibrate process instrumentation. 4-20mA, HART, IO-Link.
Machine control circuitry and motor control design, including safety circuits and adherence to NEC/NFPA and UL codes.
Configure and control Variable Frequency Drives.

Control System Programming: SCADA, HMI, and PLC code development to specification.
