The Senior Specialist will work closely with the GSC organization to own and manage Supply Chain initiated change controls by our Global and Regional Supply Chain teams as well as partner with other Technical Operations functions including Quality, Process Development, and Manufacturing.
Position Responsibilities
• Leverages previous applicable experience to become Global Supply Chain's subject matter expert on Client's QMS Change Control Management SOPs and application
• Owns GSC-initiated change control records and partners with Supply Chain SMEs to define, plan, and implement change control records across all global regions
• Maintains record compliance by tracking adherence to key record dates and securing approval for justified extensions
• Tracks completion of pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation tasks
• Communicates record status, risks, and mitigation plans to team members and stakeholders
• Maintains change control tracking resource for monthly status reporting
• Coordinates change control tasks including scheduling and facilitating stakeholder meetings
• Acts as Change Control Management point of contact for GSC project managers
• Partners with Quality to ensure change control records follow governing procedures
• Utilizes change management principles to support effective adoption and sustainment
• Tracks and escalates delays or emerging risks
• Identifies and participates in continuous improvement efforts for Change Control and Global Supply Chain
• Performs additional responsibilities as the role evolves
Qualifications
• Master's Degree with 3+ years of Supply Chain and/or Change Control and/or Operations experience OR
• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of the aforementioned experience OR
• Associate's Degree with 7+ years of the aforementioned experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED with 9+ years of the aforementioned experience
Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ years' experience as a skilled practitioner in GMP Change Control and familiarity with QMS tools

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Sr. Supply Planner is responsible for leading the demand fulfillment and inventory planning efforts for Industrial Parts Depot, LLC. (IPD), a heavy engine aftermarket parts distribution company. The individual in this role will balance service levels, inventory and supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, planning and executing sourcing to these requirements, working with suppliers to coordinate the delivery of required inventory, managing suppliers to ensure material flow is delivered per schedule, taking inventory and lead times into account, and seeking ongoing process efficiencies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular Functions include:
Creates and executes a master SKU-level supply plan based on current demand forecasts.
Sets appropriate inventory targets (safety stock) based on demand variability and lead times.
Schedules purchases per plan, to meet schedules and ensures purchase orders are received in a timely manner.
Follows up, adjusts, and monitors the supply plan, to support the annual operating plan, ensuring supply plan is executed and sufficient components are available.
Leads the development of capacity planning to identify constraints, mitigate bottlenecks, and improve cost efficiency through better resource utilization.
Works cross functionally with Sales, Supply Base, Quality and Engineering to understand internal and customer requirements and to communicate progress to the supply plan.
Analyzes root causes of planning issues and takes corrective actions for improvement.Seeks opportunities to realize efficiencies within the supply planning process.
Develops supply plan summaries including inventory and production data, to be reviewed by SIOP team on monthly basis. Leads meetings to share information.
Provides timely order status & customer quote analysis to Customer Service, Sales and Shipping teams through daily reports, verbally or through reporting system in place.
Anticipates possible obstacles in meeting customer orders. Follows up and implements countermeasures as needed prior to it becoming a problem.
Reviews and expedites shortages, with follow up as required, under area of responsibility.
Reviews and delays or cancels existing purchase orders as needed.
Ensures SIOP metrics are met, including On Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, Supplier Quality, and seeks to improve these metrics.
Analyzes inventory levels across different sites and creates a plan to balance/ reshuffle to optimize coverage and service level.
Provides structured reporting system for inventory shorts with extensive root cause analysis
Obtains and incorporates feedback on performance to plan.
Other duties as required.
Periodic Functions include:
Creates and coordinates purchase orders and expedite orders with Suppliers as needed.
Prioritizes incoming material for any needed testing and expedites any urgent material through the receiving/inspection process.
Travel may be required (approx. up to 10%).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in operations/supply chain management, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning and forecast utilization, including extensive analytical work and knowledge of MRP.
Experience with ERP Systems and planning software (Ex: SAP, Oracle, SIQ, etc.)
Exposure to requirements for Asia/Middle East and international rules with respect to export of inventory

Supply Chain Optimization: Lead efforts to develop, implement, and manage alternate material replenishment methods (e.g., consignment, Kanban, vendor-managed) to increase inventory turns year-over-year while supporting 100% customer on-time delivery and lead-time reduction; oversee the development of visual standard work for major processes and reduce transactions required to maintain materials and information flows.
Supplier Management: Oversee the resolution of issues affecting on-time delivery and quality from suppliers, coordinating meetings to keep Value Stream and Site management informed; monitor supplier scrap, handle in-house rejects of purchased parts, and coordinate technical communications to obtain timely corrective actions; support new product introduction procurement requirements.
Operational Excellence: Manage site tactical procurement activities, including all assigned personnel and data integrity in the system; support Value Stream Managers' efforts to establish point-of-use inventory, ARMs, Make or Buy decisions, and other initiatives; work with the Strategic Procurement Director to ensure company-wide policies and initiatives are followed.
Continuous Improvement: Champion lean concepts such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Leadership, and 5S; implement a pull system/Kanban approach to component flow; develop supplier quality systems and performance metrics to drive accountability and resolve problems quickly using creative, outside-the-box thinking.
