Support associate job in Omaha, NE

Service Engineer II Omaha, NE Is this you? You're the kind of engineer who likes getting your hands dirty in the full stack of a system - not just the tiny slice your current job allows. Maybe you're tired of being a cog in a giant machine… …stuck on one product line, one client type, or one monotonous “button-pushing” task. Maybe you're frustrated with red tape - tossing issues over departmental fences instead of owning the problem end-to-end. You want variety, autonomy, and the chance to actually think - not just follow a script. If that sounds familiar, keep reading. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll join a growing service team that's tripled its revenue and needs a fourth engineer because the work keeps coming in. Your day-to-day will include: Remotely troubleshooting physical security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms). Diving into supporting IT infrastructure: networks, servers, storage, and software. This is a place where you'll know the entire team by name and where your work actually moves the needle. What you'll need A solid foundation in networking and core IT infrastructure Comfort working with servers, storage, and computer systems Strong communication and task-management skills Curiosity, autonomy, and the ability to see a problem through to final resolution (You don't need to know every system on day one - just bring the fundamentals and the drive to grow.) What you'll get Broad exposure to multiple technologies (no more stagnation) Real ownership of your work A team that values thinking, not checkbox-clicking Space to grow into senior engineering or specialization paths This is the job for someone who wants to develop real, full-system mastery - not stay stuck at a narrow junior level forever.
