Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver's License
Some previous experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities
Excellent communication skills, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, with proper use of grammar and vocabulary, is required.
Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance, & FBI as well as possess a valid PA Driver's License. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training.
Essential Elements of the Position:
Assist with all daily activities within the CLA but not limited to meal preparation, shopping, leisure activities, and consumer outcomes.
Assist with community home licensing annually and home activities as prescribed in operation regulations.
Work with the Assistant Program Coordinator to ensure that all needs of the individuals are met according to the Individual Service Plan.
Responsible for the safety and well-being of all the individuals residing in the home.

**Hourly Rate** : $18.00 - $20.00
**Bonuses: $250/quarter; Max $1000/year** (minimum of **10/hrs** billed per week)

High School Diploma or GED required, diploma's acquired outside of the US must be evaluated
One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age

The IDEAL candidate will... Be empathetic, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model. Additionally, you must be able to complete required new hire orientation class, have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adolescents with special needs and possess a valid license.
Physical Requirements: Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision.
