Devereux Children's Behavioral Health Center (DCBHC) provides programs and services for children and adolescents who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis within a safe and compassionate inpatient environment. Located in Malvern, PA this position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with adolescents while assisting, supporting and instructing individuals in self-help, coping skills and positive behavioral interventions outlined in a clinical treatment plan.

Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma and two year's direct care experience or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, heath, recreation, criminal justice, counseling.
Physical Requirements: Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.

Some of your daily responsibilities include:
+ Provides individual and group counseling to students based on referrals from school district staff.
+ Provides Training and information sessions for parents and other stakeholders on mental health awareness and risk factors.Facilitates/co-facilitates groups within the schools utilizing evidence based curriculum
+ Implements and documents services in accordance with student IEPs. Attend IEP meetings and contribute to IEPs as needed. Understand special education laws and regulations related to mental health services and IEP mandates
+ Assists with crisis intervention/prevention services
+ Develops strong working relationships with schools through respectful communication and accountability. Provides consultation and training to school staff on mental health awareness and risk factors. Make recommendations for initiatives around school based mental health and prevention strategies
+ Maintain a knowledge of external supports available to students including but not limited to, local mental health provision agencies, crisis hotlines and mobile crisis units. Provide families information regarding how to access services outside of the school for mental health needs.
Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services' Brandywine School offers an education curriculum to children functioning at all grade levels. A multi-sensory educational strategy is used at all schools, employing traditional instruction, hands-on and independent learning, as well as technology, to individualize a student's progress in all academic areas, particularly math and reading. Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provides expertise in behavioral management protocols.

+ Identifies behavioral goals and intervention techniques, and recommends least restrictive behavioral change methods.
+ Develops treatment plan, services and outcome-based short term goals for identified child/adolescent.
+ Provides assessments of the strength and therapeutic needs of assigned children and their families.
+ Attends and participates in Inter-Agency Service Planning Team (ISPT) meetings.
+ Gathers written information on the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences to determine the need for behavioral intervention, if the current behavior plan is working, and to identify any problems with the current behavior plan.
+ Collaborates with other involved professions and agencies in order to provide unified services and continuity of care to child and family. Develops discharge planning criteria.
+ Works with families to determine an assessment of family need and appropriate treatment modalities. Provides clinical services to child/adolescent and family.
+ Provides written documentation and clinical records of therapeutic process and progress.
+ Submits applicable billing related documentation to facilitate payment of services.
+ Participates in company orientation, in-service training, and Office of Mental Health training.
+ Ensures the confidentiality of program participants, records, and information is maintained at all times.
+ Maintains effective Multi-Disciplinary Team interactions. Acts as a mandated reporter under the Pennsylvania Child Protect Service Law.
+ Travels to site visits and meetings.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and supports for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn, PA. As a Clinician or Behavior Analyst you will provide supports to adult individuals living in Berwyn and surrounding residences in Delaware and Chester counties.
Responsibilities include working with an interdisciplinary team to provide social, behavioral, and emotional supports. Participate in the programming of group homes to monitor for therapeutic approaches and high quality of care. Conduct on-site direct observations on a regular basis and have well developed performance-based feedback skills that supports the team process. Develop positive behavior support plans based on assessment results. Conduct staff training and provide behavioral consultation. Coordinate data collection and summarize data into graphed formats. Additional opportunities to work on special projects and research are available.
Pay range for this position is $ **52,700 TO 60, 078**

**Qualifications**
**Education** Master's degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Education, or related field. Relevant PA clinical license (i.e., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Behavior Specialist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker, and Licensed Associate Professional Counselor) or a BCBA.
**Experience** Must have strong behavioral analysis skills, counseling, and experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism and/or mental health diagnoses.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Have a valid driver's license
