We can support up to 24 hours per week on a part-time basis with flexibility in days/hours worked. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and/or operating CNC Mills or Lathes to produce high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and experienced machining environment that is focused on tight tolerances. Duties/Responsibilities: * Set up and operate CNC Mills or Lathes to machine parts to specification. * Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. * Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain part accuracy. * Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.). * Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues. * Perform basic program edits on CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or similar). * Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles. * Work collaboratively with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve processes. * Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. Required Skills/Abilities: * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T. * Strong understanding of machining practices, cutting tools, and feeds/speeds. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Education and Experience: * 2+ years of experience operating CNC Mills, Lathes, or both (willing to train the right candidate with strong mechanical aptitude). * Experience with precision measurement instruments. * Basic understanding of G/M codes preferred.
