Senior Tactical Systems Analyst (Hardware Training) Virginia Beach, VA Salary rate: $75.00-$85.00 hourly, DOE We are immediately seeking an F/A-18E/F Subject Matter Expert to join our motivated Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES) Division and support our F/A-18E/F Hardware training team in Virginia Beach, VA. The ACES Division supports Tactical Air's mission by delivering world class training, products, and support directly to fleet aviators. As part of ACES, the Hardware team provides world-class training and sustained support on combat systems and crypto to warfighters so that they can be successful in combat. The Hardware training program is dynamic and challenging, meeting the fleet's needs for Subject Matter Expertise in Tactical Data Links (Link-16/TTNT), Radios (SATCOM/SATURN/DACAS), IFF, EW Systems, Global Lightning/JTT, LITENING, IRST and SKL/Crypto dependencies associated with these systems. The Hardware Team is also responsible for Tactical Data Links Network management at several fleet concentration sites. Responsibilities * Research, process, and distill complex technical material for meaningful and engaging presentation to fleet Naval Aviators and Maintenance professionals * Conduct professional, in-person training to large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels * Cross-train and assist other priority efforts within ACES * Perform Tactical Data Link network management responsibilities Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree * Minimum of eight years' experience with F/A-18E/F combat systems. Experience as F/A-18E/F aircrew (pilot or WSO) preferred, however maintenance personnel with MTS and F/A-18E/F/G experience will be considered * Familiarity and expertise with F/A-18E/F mission planning and training systems * Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States, complete a U.S. government I-9 form, and successfully pass a government background check. * Must have an active Secret clearance, with TS/SCI eligibility * SAP program eligibility advantageous * Valid state driver license * Travel (20%) required to various work sites throughout the U.S. Desired Experience/Skills * Extensive operational Strike Fighter experience and graduate-level credentials in Strike Fighter employment, instruction, and/or flight test * Experience with various F/A-18E/F operational squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to conduct professional, in-person training to large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels * Ability to self-motivate, comfort taking the initiative to identify then solve problems without specific direction * Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects Work Authorization * Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form * Tactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace. This assistance will encompass several NOAA missions and partnerships. STC is seeking a Satellite Ground Systems Engineer / SME with the qualifications below for this effort. Job Description Provide engineering expertise in the installation, integration, and operation of ground systems that support NOAA's Satellite Service and related space missions. Perform professional engineering work involving electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, systems, and associated phenomena concerned with electromagnetic or acoustical wave energy or electrical information for purposes such as communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, and navigation. Provide support to Engineering Assessments (EA) and cost estimation, if requested. Support oversight of sustainment projects to provide the Government insight on vendor commitments and constraints in terms of budget, schedule, technical scope and quality. Validate space capability requirements, analyze current system performance, and perform gap analysis to support emerging capabilities in the program.
