Role at a Glance
TAIT is seeking a Civil Design ProjectEngineer to join our Loveland, CO office. In this role, you'll lead and support the design of land development projects across a variety of commercial and retail sectors. From grading and drainage to utility design and plan preparation, you'll contribute to high-impact work that shapes growing communities throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate design engineers to meet project objectives
Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, transforming conceptual designs into detailed plans
Design horizontal and vertical alignments, perform earthwork calculations, and prepare profiles and cross sections
Create plans for grading, drainage, street improvements, water, sewer, and storm drain systems
Prepare engineering drawings, constraint maps, and special exhibits based on field data and research
Ensure deliverables meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and client expectations
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil Engineering
3-5 years of experience in civil engineering design
Proficiency with AutoCAD (2009 or newer), Civil 3D, and hydrology/hydraulics software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
E.I.T. certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in the civil engineering field
SWPPP experience or certification
Background in commercial-retail land development projects
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally walk job sites and carry or use survey equipment
Ability to drive to job locations as needed

We are seeking a ProjectEngineer to join our work community in Northern California. This full time, exempt position engages in activities to improve the overall production, planning, and quality control on assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
Assists in coordinating project activities to ensure cost, schedule, safety, and quality standards are met.
Aids in obtaining pricing for the development of cost estimates and contributes to assembly and maintenance of construction project schedules.
Formulates, analyzes, and processes Requests for Information (RFI) documents and prepares shop drawing submittals.
Expedites the procurement and selection of vendors/sub-subcontractors by formulating bid packages, deciding on qualified bidders, securing bids, and conducting an analysis of spread comparisons.
Assesses price points for material supply and equipment needs ensuring that budget constraints are met. Analyzes the results of cost quotes and selects the supplier. Coordinates the material requirements by preparing quantity takeoffs, stocking reports, and managing jobsite deliveries.
In collaboration with other project management oversight team members, establishes a baseline schedule and implements budget controls. Assists with budget management.
Tracks any design change and prepares the hours and materials costs to be assembled into the change order. Assembles time and material tickets.
Supervises the technical execution of the applicable quality control systems, primarily the exterior enclosures.
Manages the performance of sub-subcontractors and analyzes submittals from subcontractors to assure project specifications are met.
Acts as the liaison between the project site, office management, and general contractors.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent.
General knowledge of construction principles/practices and techniques.
At least two years of field experience in the wall and ceiling industry or graduation from an accredited university with a bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience in understanding and interpreting architectural and engineering plans, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation.
Understanding of all project management control systems (e.g., scheduling, cost control, procurement, etc.).
General knowledge of construction methods and building codes.

+ Collaborate with the VDC Manager in the Design and implementation of VDC strategy throughout the project life cycle from design and construction to facilities management
+ Play a support role in the work with internal departments to understand current processes, advise, and assist in implementing VDC processes
+ Support model coordination with Architectural, MEPTF, Civil, and other disciplines, work with project superintendents concerning site utilization plans and logistics including AR/VR integrations.
+ Identify and manage constructability issues, and missing model information, and notify respective parties of issues and RFIs to support the resolution process

Your ability to manage these expectations and be responsive when critical issues arise is key to your success in this role and our collective success as a team.

_Clark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, commuter benefit, short & long term disability, fitness reimbursement, FSA, tuition reimbursement, back-up daycare, tutoring & family support benefits, EAP/Work-Life assistance, and a holiday contribution program. For this role the base salary range is $75,000-175,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
