Job Description Senior Regional Business Director - PI - MidWest Region, you are responsible for meeting or exceeding regional sales targets through leading a team of Territory Business Managers. You will oversee the tactical/operational daily activities of the sales team in the region while coaching and empowering for continuous improvement. Report to the National Head of PI Sales, leading a team of 8 Territory Business Managers in the Plasma Derived Therapies Business Unit - Primary Immunodeficiency who are responsible for calling on multiple physician specialties including Allergy/Immunology. Region consists of WI, MI, IL, OH, IN, Western KY How you will contribute: Experience leading launch excellence of new therapeutic options Drive the implementation of Brand strategies to ensure the attainment of National objectives Adapt National strategies based on Regional Business Drivers and Influencers Understand the complexity of and can lead a team through understanding and navigating the different channels and avenues that drive successful sales strategy in this environment Plan, directs and controls the sales and business activities within the physician setting to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives Collaborate with Patient Services, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access and National Accounts teams to establish strategic execution and pull through of contract opportunities within each geography Manage external collaboration with key Specialty Pharmacy partners to maximize opportunity and ensure market access to Takeda's SCIG product portfolio Prepare quarterly and annual regional forecasts and participate in the determination of market potential Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and good organization/time management skills Deal with all major channel accounts to ensure customer satisfaction Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations Partner with sales support and marketing in activities such as sales promotion and training Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare sales experience required. Advance degree preferred Preferring a successful candidate that has strong management experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in the biotech field. Experience in navigating, selling and leading within the physician setting. Implements all dimensions of marketing strategies and plans on a regional level through effective strategic management of key resources, including speaker programs, to meet quarterly and yearly company objectives. Develops and executes own Region sales plan while leading the development and execution of representative sales plans on a quarterly basis to ensure objectives are being achieved. Regularly analyzes region and territory performance to identify opportunities for business growth and sales representative effectiveness improvement. Intentionally leads the strategic allocation and utilization of the sales budget to drive business growth. Builds and maintains an in-depth knowledge of key region KOLs, top HCPs, Sleep Centers, and important institutions and IDNs. Gains a full command of the payor landscape across the region leveraging access and reimbursement insights to grow business. Works compliantly and collaboratively with field partners including patient services, medical, managed markets, and others to achieve organizational goals. Plans and conducts POA / launch meetings in accordance with business unit marketing plans and programs. Leverages AI and digital dexterity to bring greater efficiency and effectiveness to region and territory strategic thinking and results delivery. Proactively communicates consistently across RBL team and ASD, with sales leadership, and with internal XF partners in a bi-directional manner to share insights while relaying direction. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree - BS/BA 5+ years of management-level experience with a proven track record of success in the pharmaceutical, immunology, biologic/biotech, or medical device industries which may include district management, specialty account management, marketing management, training, and/or product management experience or the equivalent. Prior experience as a pharmaceutical sales representative with proven track record of success in all respects of selling, selling techniques and understanding of the healthcare industry Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills to identify unique selling opportunities and adaptability to changing market conditions Demonstrated ability to coach, delegate, and motivate a sales team providing timely feedback Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data to develop strategic and actionable Strong communication skills - Verbal, written and presentation skills Proficiency in using MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint Must be comfortable with emerging technologies, be adaptable to digital tools and have an openness to leveraging AI-enabled processes. For Location: Ohio - Virtual U.S. Base Salary Range: $175,200.00 - $240,900.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
