The Reserve at Pearland Senior Living Community is currently seeking LPN/LVNs to provide licensed nursing services to the Assisted Living residents, following the guidelines provided by our company. Essential Functions: Responsible for medication administration for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal and State regulations and our company guidelines. Provides general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community. Notifies physicians and/or family members of any change in resident's health and provides proper documentation. Responds quickly to all emergencies. Maintains close communication with all departments and staff members. Provides educational meetings for residents and staff. Understands roll in Safety & Disaster Plan. Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Must have a Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) - OR - License Vocational Nurses (LVN) License current in the state in which they are practicing. Previous experience in a similar role REQUIRED. Experience in a Senior Living Community. Needs to be CPR Certified. A High School Diploma or General Education Degree. Job Summary The Clinic Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position encompasses care of patients from intake through check out. The LVN will assist physicians or mid-level providers with typing, telephone triage, chart organization, filing, care of equipment, care of the environment in the clinic, and other assigned duties. They will schedule patients for all clinic visits and greet patients, process paperwork, obtain and verify information for medical charts and billing purposes, computer entry, work with the hospital Billing Office to assist in collecting payments, and interact well with patients and physicians.
