**Job Description:**
The Global Compliance Surveillance Department is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance across TDS in accordance with the Global Compliance Operating Framework. The team is accountable for promoting regulatory compliance by developing and maintaining a comprehensive Trade Surveillance program, including identifying emerging risks, regulatory developments related to surveillance, maintaining Compliance Surveillance departmental procedures, providing relevant training for Surveillance, conducting quality assurance of alert disposition, reporting on the state of Surveillance program to the Board, senior management, and regulators, as needed, and effective check and challenge.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Reporting: With the Head of Surveillance Initiatives and Portfolio Management and key stakeholders: assist with leading surveillance oversight /governance committees for Trade Surveillance; report on the status of surveillance remediation and modernization initiatives; and enhance and streamline TDS Surveillance's current reporting across regional committees and boards (e.g., surveillance metrics, operational issues, and related reporting). + Read Across: Assist with coordinating surveillance "read across" reviews of internal and external events, including root cause analysis, identification of themes and emerging risks, process improvement. + Surveillance Portfolio Management: Work with the Head of Surveillance Initiatives and Portfolio Management, DDI, technology and key stakeholders (e.g., Trade Surveillance Leads, and Chief Compliance Officers globally) to develop clear deliverables, milestone, and project plans for remediation initiatives, new surveillance deployments, and surveillance enhancements.
+ Surveillance Procedures: Work with the Trade Surveillance leads, to ensure that departmental surveillance procedures and timely and accurately updated.
+ Regulatory Responses: Work with key stakeholders within Surveillance and Compliance broadly to respond to regulatory inquires, requests for data, and exam inquiries as they relate to Trade Surveillance.
+ Briefings and Presentations: Lead the preparation of summaries, presentations, briefing notes, and other required documentation to effectively report on the status of Surveillance in senior governance and Boards. As needed, report in senior governance on the Surveillance program.

Review and negotiate all offers on properties.
Engage Support to have the contract on approved offers completed.
Stay engaged with the agent through closing.
Recommend liquidating through an auction house if marketing is unsuccessful.

Job Description:
The Global Compliance Surveillance Department is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance across TDS in accordance with the Global Compliance Operating Framework. The team is accountable for promoting regulatory compliance by developing and maintaining a comprehensive communications surveillance program, including identifying emerging risks, regulatory developments related to surveillance, maintaining Compliance Surveillance departmental procedures, providing relevant training for Surveillance, conducting quality assurance of alert disposition , reporting on the state of Surveillance program to the Board, senior management, and regulators, as needed, and effective check and challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting: With the Head of Surveillance Initiatives and Portfolio Management and key stakeholders: assist with leading surveillance oversight /governance committees for Communications Surveillance; report on the status of surveillance remediation and modernization initiatives; and enhance and streamline TDS Surveillance's current reporting across regional committees and boards (e.g., surveillance metrics, operational issues, and related reporting). Provide the leadership team with relevant Management Information, reporting, and support to ensure surveillance operational issues (e.g. vendor issues and surveillance outages) are appropriately managed, addressed, tracked and reported on in governance.

**Job Description:**
The Model Validation (MV) group in Enterprise Risk, Risk Management is responsible for the independent validation and approval of all analytical models used for TD.
The position reports to Senior Manager, Trading Surveillance and Insider Risk Models Validation. Detailed accountabilities include:
+ Validates Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) models for Trading Surveillance
+ Develop an effective and efficient validation testing plan based on design of different FRCM models and complete validation in time to support various business initiatives and regulators requirements.
+ Conduct or instruct junior validator for different validation analyses to ensure capture all material & critical model limitations.
+ Have effective communication with different stakeholders from 1st line and in-time solve model limitations / issues to meet validation lead time target.
+ Deliver high quality model validation reports with adequate information and justification to support validation conclusions and Audit / regulator review / assessment of validation process and validation analysis.
+ Recommends the approval of the models or other corrective actions based on independent vetting and validation.
+ Maintains full professional knowledge of techniques and developments in FCRM modeling for Trading Surveillance and Insider Risk Management and share knowledge with business partners and senior management.

Department Overview:
Team provides a strong focus on governance, control, and risk management behaviors that align with TD's policies and practices. * Works with Internal Audit / External Regulators, to ensure that documentation for all work processes is complete and up-to-date
* Ensures sound credit control by taking a pro-active approach to risk management within the risk guidelines of the Bank
* Ensures the timely communication of issues that are relevant to the team and encourages a good working relationship with other internal and external groups
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree required; Graduate degree preferred
* 5+ years' experience required
* Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a variety of PC-based analytical and reporting software packages
* Experience with the use of Relational Databases and the process of Extract Transform Load (ETL) using common languages such as SQL or SAS
* Familiar with various analytical or reporting tools, such as SAS, R, Matlab Tableau, etc.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions
* Experience in data modeling and risk management either from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experienced in developing and presenting recommendations to Senior Management

* Financial services or banking industry experience
* Risk Management regulatory requirement experience.
