    General Purpose: Responsible for processing and completing work orders, installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You may also be required to advise on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling units. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (examples, not all inclusive) Monthly data collection or “meter reading” of approximately 30,000 residential and commercial gas, water and electric meters. Inspecting, documenting and reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious tampering or damages of all meters as they are encountered. Maintains a clean, organized and mechanically safe vehicle. Maintains operational inventory of assigned tools, test equipment and materials. Maintain Thomasville Utilities standards of appearance and demeanor at all times.
