Pathways Center's Care Campus is located in Newnan, GA and has two 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Units (CSU's); one for adults and one for children ages 5-17. Pathways Center's Crisis Stabilization Units (CSU's) are short term (2-7 days), medically monitored crisis residential programs, which offer services for a limited duration to stabilize mental health disorders, provide detoxification services, evaluate treatment options, and develop long-term recovery/treatment plans. Pathways Center's Care Campus is designed to serve as a first line of community-based alternative care to hospitalization, offering psychiatric stabilization and detoxification services on a short term basis. Interventions are provided by licensed behavioral health professionals designed to prevent out of community treatment or hospitalization. In addition to Pathways Center's Adult and Child Centers, Pathways Center's Licensed Counselors are part of Coweta County's emergency response program called Coweta CARES. Coweta CARES is a unique para-medicine program that is designed to address behavioral health crisis calls to 911. Coweta CARES is a team of licensed clinicians and paramedics who work collaboratively to stabilize individuals who are experiencing behavioral health crises.
