    Plant Utility Technician (Night Shift) We are working with a long-standing food manufacturing company that is looking for a skilled Night Shift Valve Technician in two of their Central NY facilities. The Utility Technician will be responsible for completing assigned duties to ensure customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction by overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of valve systems. Must be able to work overnights. Location: Syracuse, NY region Job Responsibilities: Notify others of mechanical malfunctions to increase productivity and equipment capabilities and begin to identify areas where operators can assist in resolving concerns. Analyze, troubleshoot, and execute repair procedures for valves and associated equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards are met. Maintain accurate records of repairs, follow established procedures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including SQF certification. Monitor and manage inventory of valve parts and kits, aligning with repair frequency and ordering supplies as necessary. Train and support other technicians, providing guidance on valve work procedures, and occasionally assisting in training outcomes documentation. Regularly communicate with maintenance and plant leadership, reporting on completed repairs, equipment issues, and collaborating on maintenance schedules. Uphold safety practices, ensure adherence to quality standards post-repair, and maintain a clean working environment. Aid and support all areas in the production facility as assigned by supervisor/lead and build competence on key areas in production such as fillers, forklifts, and production lines. Responsible for gaining competence online circuits and learning proper hookups are made in the facility. Work in a safe manner and report safety concerns promptly to the supervisor/lead and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure a safe environment. Responsible for complying with GMPs, SOPs, corporate and/or plant policies, rules, and regulations. Ensure work areas are sanitary and strictly adhere to sanitation practices. Communicate effectively between shifts and other departments. Required Skills/Qualifications: GED or High School diploma (Technical training or electrical/mechanical technician degree preferred). 3+ years' experience within the mechanical field in manufacturing (food preferred). Experience in the repair and rebuild of valves. Experience with programmable logic controllers, instruments, and controls. Ability to report to work at scheduled times and communicate tardiness and absences with the assigned Supervisor/Manager ahead of time. Experience working on manufacturing equipment as well as utilities (ammonia refrigeration a plus). Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to office, production, and warehouse environments. Including the outside perimeter of the building. Ability to operate facility equipment as required in assigned area.

ROLE SUMMARY: The Storeroom OTR (Overtime Relief Technician) is a Part-Time relief position to help cover the Storeroom during weekends and holidays. They are also used when available for special projects and coverage during the week if needed. The Storeroom position deals with receiving parts and equipment that arrive into the brewery. They receive the parts in SAP and properly store the parts in the respective area. They are responsible for following proper receiving procedures for inventory accuracy so parts are available. They also assist in procuring parts from other storerooms across the brewery system if needed. The Storeroom is staffed from 6:30am to 5:00pm. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive all supplier shipments and perform timely goods receipts in SAP Monitor all shipments for compliance to quality and quantity specifications as indicated in the purchase order and notify Storeroom Manager of any non-compliance Distribute all storeroom goods issued from SAP, Parts Imaging, and ASRS Perform inventory counts accurately as directed by SAP or business process in accordance with SOPs Review and process all storeroom materials returned to inventory correctly in accordance with SOPs Review, package, and ship all storeroom materials being returned to Suppliers and ensure proper documentation is recorded Ensure cleanliness and order of storeroom JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to follow SOPs with attention to detail Awareness of Safety and Environmental issues Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis Willingness to work on any of the three shifts along with weekend coverage Basic PC skills using Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, MS Word) Customer service focus Mechanical / Technical background with basic knowledge of spare parts preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred Basic knowledge of Inventory Management techniques a plus WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH: At Anheuser-Busch, our purpose is to create a future with more cheers.
