* The Electropolish Technician uses a electrolytic process to remove metal in an ionic solution by means of a electric potential. This process simultaneously deburrs, smooths, brightens, and removes surface contaminants of the base metal. Electropolishing removes impurities and other embedded contaminants which form during mechanical polishing. The result is a smooth, mirror-like finish which helps prevent contamination.
