Roof repairs Additional Responsibilities 1. Prioritize and handle a wide variety of work orders, preventative maintenance tasks and emergency repair requests. 2. Interact with staff, members, children, special populations and the elderly in a positive manner at all times. 3. React to building and health related emergencies. 4. Follow organizational policies & procedures. Requirements 1. HS Graduate or equivalent is required. 2. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of the skilled trades, OR any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is required. 3. Knowledge of basic carpentry, electric, plumbing, HVAC and effective safety practices. 4. Ability to prioritize and handle a wide variety of Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance Tasks and Emergency Repair requests. 5. Availability to work a flexible schedule that will include 4 days during the week and half day Saturday 6. Knowledge, skills and ability to work and interact effectively in a team setting with minimum supervision. 7. Possesses computer/software skills & knowledge (Word, internet-based programs, etc.). 8. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. 9. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus. 10. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or obtain within 90 days of hire. 11. Current Blood borne Pathogens certification 12. YMCA Child Abuse Prevention Training within 30 days of hire 13.
