PRIMARY FUNCTION
Quality Assurance is a vital part of any aerospace operation as it ensures that all operations are conducted in a safe and reliable manner. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Documenting and reporting product or service quality levels
Developing a workflow or AS9102 Form 3 for product inspection
Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found
Evaluating adequacy of Quality Assurance standards
Devising sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
Reviewing the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspections systems
Investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues
Collecting and compiling statistical quality data
Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system (Continuous Improvement)
Developing, recommending, and monitoring corrective and preventive actions
Preparing reports to communicate results of quality inspection activities to management
Monitoring risk management activities
Assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
Prioritizing work and meeting deadlines
Recognizing and maintaining the confidentiality of all materials in the work setting.
Possessing a keen eye for detail with excellent attention to detail
The ability to consistently identify mistakes across thousands of inspections characteristics, closely follow International Quality Standards as well as customer requirements, read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or DSQR.
Relevant training, experience, and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
Experience with flight hardware is a must.
Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, AS13100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards. Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases. Experience with DISCUS is a plus.
Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
High school diploma/GED, prior certification as a DSQR for any Aerospace Prime contractor, or equivalent work experience.

š¢ About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Systems Software Engineer II to join Sunbelt Controls, a leading provider of Building Automation System (BAS) solutions across the Western U.S.
In this role, you'll develop and program databases, create custom graphics, and integrate control systems for smart buildings. You'll also support project startups, commissioning, and troubleshooting - working closely with project managers and engineers to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient building automation solutions.

āļø What You'll Do
Design and program BAS control system databases and graphics for assigned projects.
Lead the startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems.
Work with networked systems and diagnose LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
Perform pre-functional and functional system testing, including LEED and Title 24 requirements.
Manage project documentation, including as-builts and commissioning records.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients for smooth execution.
Mentor and support junior Systems Software Engineers.
š§ What We're Looking For
2-5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems or a related field.
Associate's degree in a technical field (Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office, Windows, and basic TCP/IP networking.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Valid California driver's license.
