Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical history
Assist physician, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners with exams and procedures
Perform in-office diagnostic tests, including blood glucose checks
Administer injections and assist with medication management under provider supervision
Handle prescription refills, prior authorizations, and lab result follow-ups
Educate patients on diabetes management, thyroid conditions, and medication adherence
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, answering phones, and insurance verification as needed
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Qualifications:

Applicants must have a MedicalAssistant diploma, and certification is a plus.
Ability to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and physicians.
Demonstrates sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations.

Good computer skills using a medical management application (EHR).
Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
Must be reliable/dependable during work hours, as traveling to other office locations will be required.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Must have reliable transportation, as traveling to SW Fort Worth and Southlake locations will be required.
