Job Description
Writing Center tutors will work with fellow Augsburg students, individually or in small groups, to provide guidance and assistance in writing for courses in any discipline, at all stages of the writing process. Tutors may also work with students on extra-curricular writing such as applications, personal statements, and creative work. The purpose of our Writing Center work is to help students build their skills, their confidence, and their comfort level as writers and as students. As a part of this center, tutors will learn about writing in both practical and theoretical terms-as a way of thinking, a means of communicating with others, and a practice that varies across disciplines and across social and cultural conditions, also reaching into the practical aspects of one's career. Additionally, as members of the Writer Center team, tutors are required to attend regular meetings for continuing education and discussions about Center business.
Responsibilities
Assist, individually or (occasionally) in small groups, students who seek help with their writing for a minimum of 5 hours a week
Attend biweekly mandatory meetings prepared, having read or written any assigned material
Attend two Staff workshops per academic year
Assist in ongoing tasks (e.g., greeting students, collating data, keeping the space clean and orderly) to ensure the Center runs smoothly and efficiently

To assist Prof. Ka Wong's courses, ASCON 220 Asian Conversations: Engaging Asia and ASIAN 123 Asia in America, with logistics around scheduling, hours tracking, transportation, and/or reflection for the courses' Academic Civic Engagement (ACE) component.

Job Description
The CLASS office (Disability Resources) is seeking to hire 2- 3 work/study-eligible students for the 2025-
26 academic year. This position is scheduled to work approximately 8-15 hours a week. The scheduled
hours may vary. The CLASS Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The CLASS Office leads the Augsburg community in advancing disability access and equity. We welcome

access assistant role includes (training is provided):
* Assist the CLASS Office with accommodation and office related tasks.
* Daily communication (in-person, e-mail, phone) with faculty, students and staff for items involved in testing, note-taking, and alternative format text.
* Manage a database of testing schedules, and prepare envelopes for exams being taken in the testing center.
* Proctor exams, schedule proctors for exams as needed, and support oversight of testing in the CLASS Office.
* Support the Assistive Technology/Accommodations specialist with alternative format production. This process involves on-the-job training that will provide an access assistant with the knowledge of how to use assistive technology and other specialized software.

* Previous customer service experience preferred.

Job Description
The Student Game-Day Assistant will play a vital role in supporting Augsburg Athletics by assisting with the successful execution of home athletic events. This position ensures that contests meet NCAA, MIAC, and institutional standards for game-day operations while providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere for student-athletes, officials, and fans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate game-day roles as assigned (e.g., scoreboard operator, scorekeeper assistant, libero tracker, ball assistant, stats spotter, ticketing/usher support).
Provide direct support to game management staff, officials, and visiting teams.
Serve as a visible and professional representative of Augsburg Athletics, ensuring contests run smoothly and safely.
Address game-day needs quickly and effectively under the supervision of the event manager.
Work Hours
Hours per Week: 4-12 hours per week depending on home event schedule.
Preferred Working Hours: Evenings and weekends, aligned with Augsburg Athletics' home contest schedules.
Flexibility: Hours vary weekly based on the athletic schedule. Shifts are set per contest; students must commit to working assigned events.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic knowledge of sports rules (soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, etc.) is preferred but not required.
