The Family Health Centers of Georgia company history timeline

2002

FHCGA has maintained The Joint Commission Accreditation since 2002.

2010

In 2010, FHCGA became the first community health center in Georgia, and the second in the Southeast, to be accredited by The Joint Commission as a Primary Care Medical Home.

2012

In 2012, the organization became the first community health center in Georgia, and the second in the Southeast, to be accredited by The Joint Commission as a Primary Care Medical Home.

2013

August of 2013 was another monumental time as the Board of Directors made the bold move to rebrand the organization from West End Medical Centers to The Family Health Centers of Georgia, Inc.

2014

Under Doctor Brooks' leadership, FHCGA received its designation as "Recognized - Level 3 on Achievement of Recognition for Systematic use of Patient-Centered, Coordinated Care Management Processes" from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in 2014.

2020

June 20, 2020 marked the 45th year anniversary of The Family Health Centers of Georgia.
