Pay: $20 per hour Title: Driver Reports to: Facility supervisor or management designee Summary: The responsibilities include but are not limited to being responsible for collecting customer information regardless of media type. Perform responsibilities related to bay consolidations. Demonstrate proficiency in operating a picker forklift or other company equipment. Prior to signing out equipment performs operations and safety check, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher. Proceeds safely to assigned area to pull, load and move boxes. Warehouse maintenance Make pickups and deliveries. Vehicle maintenance Other duties as assigned. At the end of each day, return equipment to the correct charging station, and prepares equipment for daily (overnight) charge. Primarily interfaces with production, transportation, and sales departments, with periodic interface with all other departments. Follows company policies and procedures to ensure product is properly handled accounted for and inventoried. Arrives on or before scheduled start time to properly review duties for the day. Physically handles product, materials and equipment (racks, pallets, pallet jacks, etc.) to assist in the distribution of bread and cake products; may include traying, racking, positioning of empty/full racks, loading/unloading of vehicles. Production Team Member - Shipper II Paulo Cleveland - 4428 Hamann Pkwy Willoughby, OH 44094 Wage: $19.57 - $20.23 2nd shift- $1.00 shift differential Your schedule will include weekends Load and unload trucks and vans, handle incoming inspection (i.e. weight, counts, and paperwork), and move parts to staging areas in plant. Handle UPS and FedEx deliveries and shipments. Load build all Mentor and Minerva loads. Train new shippers as needed. Ensure that all shipping activities are conducted in a safe manner. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately weigh, label, load and unload customer parts using a forklift as necessary. * Accurately confirm all incoming counts, as required and turn in paperwork to order writers in a timely and correct manner. * Complete all paperwork, including PICs requirements for incoming and outgoing loads. * Determine the status of the customer parts before loading vehicle to ensure that only parts ready for delivery are loaded (follow cone policy as well as checking the shop order). * Communicate with customers in a courteous and friendly manner to schedule pickup and delivery and to communicate inventory information. * Move parts to the production staging areas after shop orders have been written. * Follow all forklift safety procedures and protocols at all times.
