Job Description: The Mortgage Technology (MT) Support Analyst II plays a key role in supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing mortgage technology systems that drive the loan lifecycle from application to closing. This position serves as an advanced resource for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining user functionality, and supporting system improvements. The MT Support Analyst II partners closely with business users, technology teams, and leadership to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement of mortgage technology tools. Pay Range: $32-36/hr Duties and Responsibilities: Provide advanced analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution for end-user support requests across LOS, POS, and Process Automation systems. Monitor ticket trends, identify recurring issues, and recommend process or training improvements. Escalate and collaborate with development and product teams for complex system issues. Assist with system administration tasks, including user setup, maintenance, and access management. Support communication and training related to technology changes, enhancements, or system outages. Maintain system documentation to capture solutions, root causes, and best practices. Participate in special projects as a subject matter expert and provide input on process improvements. Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as a trusted support resource for end users. Position Specifications/Requirement: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years of experience in technical support, preferably in a help desk, mortgage technology, or financial services environment. Familiarity with mortgage industry processes and exposure to supporting ICE's Encompass software (experience with the desktop version of Encompass LOS and Ncino strongly preferred). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. As the primary representative for Information Technology Services (ITS) to the campus community, this position is responsible for collaborating with ITS departmental staff and other faculty and staff on campus to develop solutions for client issues. * Performs hardware and software installations, diagnostics, repair, maintenance, data recovery, data transfer, and upgrades on Windows and Macintosh computers deployed across campus and some off-campus locations; also provides support for mobile devices that connect to Office 365 email, as well as printer connection support. Provides client-level network configuration and troubleshooting for both Windows and Macintosh computers, and escalates network, application, or server issues to the appropriate teams as necessary. * Prioritizes and responds to issues reported to ITS or as necessary as delegated by a supervisor. Also maintains a record of service calls, completed services, communications with clients, asset information, and escalation of issues in a centralized ticketing system. * Provides client consultation, project management, and technical support for specific University projects which utilize information technology. * Maintains an accurate and up-to-date physical asset inventory utilizing the department's centralized asset management systems. * Maintains security practices and procedures for the protection, security, and privacy of all computer systems deployed on campus. Performs diagnostics and repair of computer systems that have become infected with viruses and other malicious software. Escalates security issues to the security team as necessary. * Creates and revises self-help documentation for use by clients. Provides one on one instruction for faculty, staff, students and other BGSU community members as needed. Under the supervision of the IT Support Manager, the IT Endpoint and Inventory Administrator will be the subject matter expert responsible for IT end-device configuration, life-cycle management, and the overall user experience on these systems. Support duties will include network connectivity troubleshooting, printer installation and configuration, software installation and troubleshooting, AD account management, Exchange mailbox and user support, software support (all Microsoft supported versions of Office, Acrobat, Citrix, etc.), VPN remote access user configuration and support, and special projects as assigned. This position reports to the IT Support Manager for all helpdesk related tasks.
