Restaurant dishwashers hold the responsibility of cleaning all the dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies for a restaurant. A dishwasher must keep the dish room and dish machine in clean, working order. Additionally, the dishwasher will perform duties necessary to maintain an overall clean and safe work environment, which includes, but is not limited to, trash removal, sweeping and washing floors, cleaning spills and breakage, and other cleaning tasks. PREP COOK
In addition to dishwashing duties, the ideal candidate will also assist in the preparation of food and perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients. A prep cook is responsible for following the prep list created by chefs to plan duties, labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible, and measuring ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
A great prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You will be deft and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.
Additional Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS
Dishwasher jobs involve constant movement and physical activity while on the clock. Workers must be able to operate different machines and know the proper specifications needed to sterilize restaurant utensils. Dishwashers must be aware of basic sanitary guidelines. Due to the physical nature of the job, dishwashers should be comfortable routinely lifting large loads and equipment and be able to remain standing for at least 8 hours. Prior experience as a prep cook is preferred.
